Tielemans63 Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 Nobody tell Kingfox: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25560530 Didn't realise that Michael Keane was on-loan at Derby or that Bamford was bought from Forest.
Tielemans63 Posted 1 January 2014 Posted 1 January 2014 Pearson has a habit of bringing in young, hungry players and Matty Fryatt is definitely at least one of these things.
Orkneyfox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Georgios Samaras and Joe Ledley of Celtic may both be available.
Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Creswell for me if we targeting players that can play in the prem or have the potential to do so, he is definitely one of them an attacking LB ready made replacement for Konchesky.
RedHux Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Didn't realise that Michael Keane was on-loan at Derby or that Bamford was bought from Forest. Yep. He was scoring at will in our youth side (9 goals in two games for instance) whilst the first team, under Cotterill, hadn't scored for three months with Harewood and Tudgay up front.
Corky Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Yep. He was scoring at will in our youth side (9 goals in two games for instance) whilst the first team, under Cotterill, hadn't scored for three months with Harewood and Tudgay up front. Are you lot going to buy Jordan Rhodes for £8 million as was reported in the papers?
RedHux Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Shouldn't think so. Billy quite often goes for unrealistic targets and then when the chairman tells him to sod off he can claim he wasn't backed when we don't get promoted.Fryatt seems more likely. In other Forest news it seem Hull are wanting to recall Hobbs. Which is a bit of a knacker.
Dan Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 That Stevie May 'may' be worth a gamble. £200k for a youngster who is consistently scoring goals?
TJB-fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Never heard of stevie may so I just googled him, bloody hell he needs a hair cut! Got a bit of a john joe otoole Barnet there
Finnaldo Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 That Stevie May 'may' be worth a gamble. £200k for a youngster who is consistently scoring goals? What I thought but that's only a Transfermarkt estimate. With his scoring I'd think they'd want to up that a bit but he should still be affordable.
TJB-fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Stevie mays career stats are very very good tbf! 63 goals in 112 games for a youngster albeit in a lower quality league is good. would love dylan mcgeouch from celtic absolutely little gem. Young attacking midfielder would cost about 500k I reckon
MPH Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Shouldn't think so. Fryatt does seem like he'd fit into the forest set up tbf
Monk Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Le Fondre looks like he may be on his way out at Reading? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25577217
The Horse's Mouth Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 not worth it. If he joins I don't think we would be able to guarantee him first team football really and I imagine if he departs that would be what he was looking for.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 not worth it. If he joins I don't think we would be able to guarantee him first team football really and I imagine if he departs that would be what he was looking for. Precisely this. If he wants to leave for a starting berth, he won't react well to Nige's tactic of making the players earn their spot.
Simonb Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Are you lot going to buy Jordan Rhodes for £8 million as was reported in the papers? hell no... unless you have around £7m you can give to us ... more of a summer buy
AKCJ Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Stevie mays career stats are very very good tbf! 63 goals in 112 games for a youngster albeit in a lower quality league is good. would love dylan mcgeouch from celtic absolutely little gem. Beaze Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Depending on cost and availability (haven't read the rest of the thread): Kenwyne Jones Ince Rhodes Kevin Phillips
Adster Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Some people seriously are thick. There's absolutely no chance we'll be signing Jordan Rhodes or Tom Ince in January .
karl rudham Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 getreading.co.uk Frustrated Adam Le Fondre is open to Reading exit due to lack of first team football at the Majeski Stadium. 33 goals for the royals in two and a half seasons including 12 in the premier league. Many foxes fans speak of their desire for a new striker this January, thoughts on Adam Le Fondre being that striker if that's what Nigel opts for ?
Finnaldo Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Depending on cost and availability (haven't read the rest of the thread): Kenwyne Jones Ince Rhodes Kevin Phillips I couldn't really imagine the top three coming here at all this January. Maybe if we got promoted but right now no chance. Kevin Phillips I'm not sure of either. I would go him or Stevie May and then a right winger.
