I wouldn't say they were undeserved.

Leeds were shite after the 20th minute. Half their chances came from Konchesky. We closed it out, dulled it down and probably deserved to nick one at the end. I don't remember a Leeds effort since the McCormack one on one with Kasper.

I agree. This is Leeds away ffs, we dug in there, got to grips with them and hit them with a sucker punch. Well deserved 3 points.

In all honesty, Leeds should have been out of sight by half time. To hang on as we did and pinch in the last minute was really worth sitting through 88 abysmal minutes for. I love that this will piss their fans off more. Up yours you dirty bastards! COYB

That was awful. If thats how we play away, I wont bother. Anybody want 2 free tickets for Bournemouth?

It wasn't a particularly good performance but it wasn't as poor as some are making out. My Leeds supporting mate just text me to say that's the best they've played for months and we still beat them. I thought it was a decent performance in the sense that we had to withstand a lot of pressure from a really determined side. They weren't going to lay down and die like the sheep did.

Excellent.

We didn't play brilliant today, we weren't bad far from it, but i'd say Leeds were the better team, but grinding results out like that is a sign of a good team.

It's getting exciting but we still need to keep our feet on the ground and focus.

Fantastic, I guess we are hoping Sheff Wed do us a favour now then? (We were hoping this regardless of what we did ourselves today anyway):fc:

Several points clear and hopefully make it several wins in a row next week. Results more important than performances at this stage.

Three very welcome but undeserved points there.

Exactly my thoughts, good signs when you are never really on it, and come away with the points.

Hope this run can keep going, confidence must be sky high, the only negatives, the couple of injuries we seemed to have picked up.

We've spent half the season dominating games and being wasteful in front of goal.  Today we had very few chances and took one.  Leeds came to battle and it forced errors, fair play to them but I'm not going to castigate our side for playing poorly.  Leeds didn't make the most of their dominance and we made the most of our skills and we never gave up.  So I think we deserved to win.

It's a useful result for us in many ways. Not least it gives Pearson a few things to get his teeth into. Taking a win, so not dropping points, but playing poorly can be good because it serves as a message to the players and gives Pearson good reason to maybe call players on a few things which is harder to do when you're winning and playing well all the time. Bit of a safeguard against complacency.

It was a typical McDermott performance, and what I am sure the majority of us were expecting to see.

The difference being this season despite the fact that we put ourselves up against a side of limited quality, we still mange to grind out the result having played at their level for the majority of the game.

I'm starting to believe we can pull this off now.

Dreadful performance - the worst we've played in about 10 games.

Fantastic result though and a cool head from Nugent when it mattered.

unbelievable bias crap from commentators. even when the goal went in 'leicester have been given a real going over today'. in terms of getting lumps kicked out of us then yes.

leeds just edged the game overall and a draw would have been fair, however top teams find a way to win.
