MC Prussian Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 First time we've won six games in a row for more than twenty (20!) years.
Haydos Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Fvck me, just seen Schmeichel's save, that's got to be save of the season, incredible.
Dickov22 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Michael Brown is perhaps the most despicable player in the championship. Delighted he's on the losing side Smash and grab win. Wes Morgan superb. Great goal by Nugent
SeCrEt FoX Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Great win , very sloppey from Konchesky and wasn't the best performance but we pulled through. I thought Leeds were gonna nick it but we did it and thats all that counts!!! Coyb
Carl the Llama Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 McDermott: "We never got a break today." Errr, no, you just didn't make the most of them.
nickelbyfox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 McDermott 'never got a break' - Konch back pass on a plate for McCormack not a break from us? Just not taken
ozleicester Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Get posting. ... with pleasure.... http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/69113-hottest-celebs/page-108
Fifties Blue Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 "Win Ugly", the mark of Champions. Get In! Pearson Out.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 They kept Dyer very quiet. Byram didn't need to go 1 on 1 with him too often (although when he did, he did well) because they cut off supply to him by pressing us high up the pitch. Dyer hardly touched the ball for long periods of the game so they had obviously done their homework. Couple of panic moments from Konch, 2 horrific back passes and one of them really should have resulted in a goal. Kasper was amazing.
MrSpaM Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 "That's six wins on the trot Nigel, first time since 1993" "Well that's nice" Classic Nige
MC Prussian Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 McDermott 'never got a break' - Konch back pass on a plate for McCormack not a break from us? Just not taken I think there must've been at least three Leicester plates to Leeds today - Konchesky twice and Moore once, too.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 And still people question Kasper's ability.
Nalis Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Bigger result than QPR away for me. I would argue that QPR away was the biggest so far, it was the win that got the ball rolling...
cjslcfc Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Anyone who was doubting Phillips and saying he was too old. He was our best player when coming on. Put himself everywhere, used his experience to set up Kingy and dummy for the goal. He will be invaluable!
RowlattsFox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 McDermott: "We never got a break today." Errr, no, you just didn't make the most of them. Exactly. They did get breaks but were unable to take them.
Fox92 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Michael Brown is perhaps the most despicable player in the championship. Delighted he's on the losing side Just said the same thing. How many fouls did he make? And then Vardy gets booked for his second foul. Don't like Brown at all.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Beagrie: "Leeds could have had double figures at half time" He doesn't usually bother me but he is an absolute knob flap isn't he?
Dickov22 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Just said the same thing. How many fouls did he make? And then Vardy gets booked for his second foul. Don't like Brown at all. He's filthy, and also goes down like a fairy with the slightest touch. Awful awful player.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 A really poor performance might concern Nige, but winning whilst playing poorly is the mark of a good team. I watched the game with a Leeds mate who said that even as badly as we were playing, we looked threatening every time we got it in the box. The goal wasn't that much of a shock when it came, it was a total smash and grab. I'll say one thing, we need to be getting in touch with Leeds about Sam Byram if we go up. Some player, he is.
EnglishOxide Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Three very welcome but undeserved points there. I wouldn't say they were undeserved. Leeds were shite after the 20th minute. Half their chances came from Konchesky. We closed it out, dulled it down and probably deserved to nick one at the end. I don't remember a Leeds effort since the McCormack one on one with Kasper.
bovril Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Biggest win of the season Yes Yes and Yes. I went fvcking apeshiit when Nugent scored. Get the fvck in there my son. 89th minute 1-0 at Elland Road. It literally gets no better than that. What a team. What a bloody team.
Number 6 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Several points clear and hopefully make it several wins in a row next week. Results more important than performances at this stage.
Poznan34 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Now need to hope Burnley and QPR drop points to widen the gap.
