NXT up Bournemouth could we? Pre Match.

Is Marc Pugh still at Bournemouth? Thought he played well at the reverse fixture for them?

Yeah.

Still blowing hot and cold.

Ryan Fraser.

Remember that name.

He'll probably be used as a sub for Pugh on about 70 if things are looking iffy.

Young, raw, rather good.

Last time I had a long journey to the coast didn't go too well! Reality is that we will drop points sometime soon. Is this the first blip? If we play anywhere close to the first half level at Brum then absolutely not.

One of the few side's that has impressed me at the KP this season and but for their GK being slow off his line could have easily got a point.....so i don't think this is a given win by any means.

Agreed. They played extremely good football at our place and I feel they should be higher in the table than they are. Clearly consistency is a problem for them as they have the talent. A good game in prospect

I thought Bournemouth looked a decent team at our place earlier in the season and expected them to do better than they have. However if we can turn it on as we did against derby and the second half and first half against middlesbrough and birmingham then we should have enough to beat them though I feel James and Drinkwater will need to fight hard early on to get hold of the midfield. A sodden pitch could turn it into a hard slog slowing the pace of our game.

*Copy and paste into the right thread.

I'll add that I'm going for 2-0 win with a late Philips goal settling our nerves.

There haven't been that many bad comments on here have there? I love it how a whole fanbase can be judged from a few comments on a forum (similar to when we were looking at the Burnley forum not long ago, although the people that hated Nugent were hilarious).

Honestly can't say much about Bournemouth because we've never really played them over the years because we've spent nearly all our time in the top two tiers and the one time we went down to the third tier, they went down too! Which was annoying as it would've been a relatively easy game for me to get to. The one thing I can say about them is they scored a decent goal at our place a few months back.

If we can keep up the standard of our football then we certainly have a decent chance of winning. It's a real shame that the pitch sounds like it'll have so many issues, would've probably been a cracker football wise from the sounds of it.

Pissy bunch on that forum. We've won 8 games in a row, top of the league and we've shown we can beat anyone in this league. According to them a bit of confidence is arrogance all of a sudden.

I'm not saying it'll be an easy game, but it does make me laugh how pissy fans of clubs like Bournemouth etc.. get when you dare mention you're a better side than them. If they had won 8 on the bounce last season and went away to a side sat around 12th in League One, they would be expecting to win. If they tell you otherwise they're other liars, losers or both.

I know, so sensitive. If some idiots want to bang on about cup finals, let them. It's not representative of our fanbase or even this board, I happen to think we respect most clubs in this division (beyond the pettiness with Derby and Nottingham Forest) and most often predict a close game.

Don't worry about our tiny pitch folks.

According to Wikipedia (it's all fact on there as you know) yours is a massive Russian Steppe like expanse of - 102 x 67 with ours turning out to be a claustrophobic 115 x 71.

That's really going to muck up that wonderful passing game then.

Difference is genius those dimensions you have are in metres not yards. Our pitch is 110x76 in yards which all of a sudden makes your 71 yard wide pitch look drastically narrower. Well done genius.

Forgive me if I've misunderstood but does that not make their pitch bigger than ours?

I can reassure you our pitch is most definitely wider than theirs. Theirs is longer than the King Power.

Bloody hell, what have I walked into here?

"My pitch is bigger than your pitch"?!

As usual one or two people post something on here saying we (top of the league, 8 straight wins) should be winning at Bournemouth (mid-table, decent side as we saw at the KP but inconsistent) and the opposition board goes bananas and tars all Leicester fans with the arrogant brush.

Almost that entire thread is a hissy fit. If Bournemouth win on Saturday (which they may well) it won't change the fact that before the game we're favourites. It's got nothing to do with arrogance, it's about the side that is top of the league playing a side in mid-table.

We all expected Derby to beat Yeovil on Tuesday - that doesn't make us or Derby fans arrogant and it doesn't mean we're belittling the opposition.

Apparently one was in yards and one was in metres. Or something. Either way we've basically won the match already.

I'd expect Leicester to win 1-0 or more. Bournemouth are a decent team though. Not sure if they have the quality in the midfield to open up much areas of threat. Saturday's game will only tell.

Many apologies I should have actually used Wiki for our own ground as well.

Oh look I just have.

Must be a misprint.

To me it looks like it says 105x78 metres.

What do you think Gingerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?

How can I be a loser and a genius at the same time?

Football fans are so sensitive nowadays, I hope we don't have a thread crying if Man City/ Arsenal/ Chelsea fans say they expect to beat us next season should we get promoted.

Why do so many people go to other teams boards? Obviously what you will find 90% of the time is biased inflated opinions of the team in question. Ours included,  always going to be at least a few people spouting shit, don't see why it's such a big deal.

Just had a quick scan of their forum.

One of their posters says "we are better than them".

They're moaning about our fans being arrogant but they're doing a pretty good job themselves, moaning that some fans are saying we're bigger than them, last time I checked, we were a bigger club than them? Seems you're not even allowed to say that. They play decent football and gave us a good game at home. Perhaps the best team we've seen at the KP so far. Why they're getting in a tizz over the pitch size is strange as well. Does it matter? If they play their game, we'll be able to play our game which is a similar style of passing football.

Seems the same old minority giving us a bad name. Majority of us know we're in for a tough game and it won't be a walkover. They'll get the respect they deserve from the team, and most fans but we should be confident going into this. Barely any of their fans seem respectful of what we have achieved, more resentful than anything.

If we play to our best, we've got a very good chance of coming away with all 3 points.

Finally I came across this:

"In terms of club 'bigness for this league I doubt Leicester make it into the top half."

Leeds, Wednesday, for sure, Forest and maybe Derby are arguably bigger but who else is bigger than us that we don't get in the top 12 biggest clubs in the league? lol.

If that's the case, they're easily bottom 5.

4 away wins on the bounce could we do 5?

Whats our league record for away wins on the bounce?

DIdn't we get a ridiculous away run in league one? The number 11 sticks in my mind, I cant remember if that's an 11 game unbeaten run or an 11 game winning run.
