Bournemouths pitch!

I'd say ours at the weekend was probably even worse tbh, down to different reasons yeh, but it's not exactly unplayable

That's a bad pitch? It might not be a putting green, but if you'd told a footballer 30 years ago that THAT pitch was unplayable, they wouldn't have stopped laughing for days.

Hi, Bournemouth fan here in peace, just as long as you all stay peaceful. ;) .

Pitch last night was almost unplayable after 20 minutes.

Ball either skidding through at a million miles an hour or stopping dead in puddles.

Its a decent, and large :) , pitch normally; and it drains really well.

But the large amount of rain in a short time killed the game.

The pitch cover was owned by either the FA or ITV, not ours.

I'd watch the weather and have the radio on (Radio Solent 96.1 fm) coming down as it could well be off.

Suits me fine if its rearranged, on a decent pitch at home we'll give you a decent run for your money; contrary to what some misguided folk on here seem to think.

If its on it could be another lottery.

BTW, we've got a different keeper now.

Yeah, Forest and Derby reject Lee Camp.

Not for some of us, alot of leicester fans have already paid for accommodation for that weekend and we won't be able to get a refund for that. Anyway according to the forecast tomorrow should be a dry tomorrow, which means your groundsman can have a good go tomorrow.

No rain down here today, and nice and breezy. Should of helped dry it out a bit.

Sounds good   Keep us update whats going on down there, how far do u live from the ground?

The met office forecast is for a dry day tomorrow and heavy rain for most of Friday and Friday night/early hours of Saturday morning then heavy showers for Saturday

So fingers crossed

Plus apparently a bit of sunshine is due aswell.

Who hasn't put a foot wrong since he joined.

Wish I could say the same for the bloody defence....................................

About a mile and a half, its been cloudy for days but actually hasn't rained too much.

?????

Apart from it raining from 6 o'clock last night without stopping until 7 am.

Do you not get out much after dark? :)

The worst weather came on Sunday, absolutely bollocked it down here. Other than that it's been alright to my knowledge (I have been house bound due to exams however).

It shouldn't be to bad, I think that's part wishful thinking/ part weather forecast.

Got my family combining a visit with the game, so I don't want it to be a waste of time and money for them. We'll see I guess!

I always thought Lee Camp was pretty decent from what I've seen of him.

Do you generally like to play long ball?

I would say that kind of pitch suits us as an away side...

...but it won't.

Anyone going down for the weekend? I went blackpool and we were all dressed up (batman, Green Mask, Bane etc.) and we shall be in fancy dress again :-)

It's funny that Bournemouth fans say they don't have a narrow pitch. When in reality at 71 yards wide they have one the narrowest pitches in the league.

They make up for it in length. 115 yards is a lot for a young woman to take.

Last night was the first time we've even seen a hint of long ball this season and that was because of the conditions.

We really are a team that likes to play pretty football.

130 passes in variations of a triangle before losing it on the edge of the box.

Our football is easy on the eye and at times easy to defend against.

For anyone who caught it, the Liverpool game Saturday was more typical of the way we play.

As was the result.

With the impending arrival of Kermorgant you've got at least a 1 goal head start. That said, Eddie Howe has an appalling record against us as a manager, I think we've won every game and some of them by big scorelines.

lol Is that why you have a goal difference of -12?

Certainly is.

Wouldn't have it any other way.

We play easy on the eye pretty football, that lacks a cutting edge.

I mean, can you really imagine AFCB in the Premiership?

No, I thought not. :)

Hope it don't get called off,if it does I'll be hoping Forest best Preston, then they might rearrange the game for the 15th as we'll both have that Saturday free.
