Ashley Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Certainly the I read it. "There are no plans to inspect the pitch BEFORE tomorrow". Which means they'll be inspecting it tomorrow. How does that mean they would inspect it just that twat making up shit again always does it and it's actually boring. Like I said earlier close source has told me about the inspection. Will post anything I know on here tomorrow morning

MPH Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I used to be a coach in the community at afcb. Text my mate who still works there to see how the pitch was looking, he says they have a cover on it today. Tell your groundsman to put plenty of sand in the goal mouth- kasper hates it. He goes ape. Reckons it ruins his gloves.
Ashley Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It's pretty obvious that from the tweet that they've planned a pitch inspection, but not before tomorrow? I wouldn't say it was pretty obvious at all. Think you're reading too much into it personally. If there was one why not say @stringersport: pitch inspection planned? The mans a complete nob who says anything on twitter and makes things so long winded to boost listeners on his show. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I think it's pretty obvious even without a tweet from Stringer, that a pitch inspection is bound to happen with the amount of rain there's been there and most places around the country.

To be fair yes maybe. But if you believe your 'ITK' on the Bournemouth forum that the pitch is fine because he knows the groundsmen then... I've just watched EMT and it looks like it's hardly raining around Bournemouth tomorrow however winds are very strong. Maybe a good sign for us. Just don't know what time to leave out now for this Ok then Same old Bert always right... Again.

Bayfox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Dodgy isn't it. You could be half way there and then the game is called off. Not good!Thats the brilliance of this whole episode. If the game is called off. Enjoy the beer The food the birds and the fact that loads of us are staying over. We are going at 8.45 and unless its called off before I get past junc 21. I am not turning back!!! The worst case is it starting and then being called off. That really is a shitter for people not staying over.

There is all that!!
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 To be honest even if the game is called off I can still see thousands of leicester supporters turning up! A lot of fans are already here or will arrive early! The advice to the ref is get the game on! This fixture is big to both supporters, weather here is bad but it could have been easily 10x worse.
Ashley Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I'm sure everyone else will agree with you mate Need all the attention I can get and I must boost my ego! Joking aside - Seen something I didn't agree with so posted, ain't that what this is all about? Seems like you disagree with a lot of people all the time then? You've thought something from a tweet, me personally it didn't come across that way I think Stringer is a nob and basically says anything to get more listeners. Anyway back to the main point I will post anything I hear tomorrow morning should be as soon as inspection is done/happening
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 The rain as stopped at the moment!, fingers crossed that's it! Plus the wind as dropped, the worst of this storm i think was here around 5pm-8pm. To be honest though it's been raining since 1pm, i think the last two hours it's been on and off.
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Ian Stringer â€@StringerSport5m The changeable weather in Bournemouth has caused a pitch inspection early tomorrow morning #lcfc
Ashley Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Ian Stringer â€@StringerSport5m The changeable weather in Bournemouth has caused a pitch inspection early tomorrow morning #lcfc Hi stringer thanks for reading foxestalk.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Would it actually be possible to push the kick off time back, in order to give more time for the groundsman to work on it?
Chairman of the Bored Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Would it actually be possible to push the kick off time back, in order to give more time for the groundsman to work on it? Unlikely, the Bournemouth groundsman has a second job as a deck chair attendant starting at 2pm on Boscombe pier.
Steven Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 From a Bournemouth forum. thefiendofkingspark Posted 31/1/2014 20:33 #716852 - in reply to #716851Subject: Re: 9am inspection tomorrow? UTC Legend Posts: 10102 Location: God's own county Can't we use their BIG CLUB helicopters to help dry the pitch out?
Harry - LCFC Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Stringer's tweet simply states that a pitch inspection won't take place today. Saying a pitch inspection isn't planned for today does not imply there will be one tomorrow. I don't know how people could read it that way to be honest. It was misleading and just gives the fans yet more reason to be suspicious of what he says.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 So something is happening sometime, but not before whenever?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I don't plan to get a girlfriend before tomorrow. Read into it what you will.
steveherbe Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I don't plan to get a girlfriend before tomorrow. Read into it what you will. Obviously gay - well, thats how I read it.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 How do we know that Bournemouth haven't taken precautions for this? Weather was just as bad for the Liverpool game and that went ahead. With the run were on, calling it off would be bad Plus, nothing can be as bad as Ipshit a few seasons back
