TheUltimateWinner Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Obviously gay - well, thats how I read it. Lads on tour
Rich Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Did I read somewhere the FA provided a cover for the pitch at Bournemouth so the Liverpool game could go ahead?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 From what I've seen the forecast is rain for the next hour and then to hold off until 3pm tomorrow. Here's me hoping!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Is there a pitch inspection? That's torn it.
Carl the Llama Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If that UKIP man was right they must be bumming it no end in Bournemouth right now.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 NO RAIN The pavement looks wet, can we have a pavement inspection?
Brainy Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Torn really, just want this match to go ahead cause of the run we're on but if it means we have to completely change our approach then perhaps its best to be happy to wait
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 NO RAIN Looks like outside the premier inn
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 The pavement looks wet, can we have a pavement inspection?I don't think it looks as wet as it should going by what people have said
Carl the Llama Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 NO RAIN Inspect that grassy verge. What's the soil like? Has it been under a cover?
whitlock Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Prefer it to be off, I imagine we'll struggle playing on a poor pitch.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 To be honest we might worrying about nothing, all this talk about pitch inspections and covers or whatever is all talk.. It gets kinda annoying where different forum and threads are saying they've spoke to the groundsman and said "the pitch is fine!" or "there's no grass on the pitch" until we see an actual live picture of the pitch then lets just face it nobody on this earth knows!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Inspect that grassy verge. What's the soil like? Has it been under a cover?
Simonb Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If it goes ahead then theirs two teams playing the conditions. .. we'd just get on with it and hopefully come out on top... might be a game for woody n hammond to come off the bench n knock players about.. maybe gtf too... jus hope wasyl dont fly in on that wet surface wrn miss timing a tackle. Red card waiting to happen
steveherbe Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Just checked here in Winchester. Rain has stopped, there is a drying wind blowing, it'll be fine. Gentlemen, start your engines!
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 No it's raining again:( Normally I get up early around 7:30 for my jog i'm tempted in the morning to jog down to the ground, find out what's going on?
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Years ago this game would not be in doubt, they would of played, expectations and pitch quality are so much higher now.
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I don't think it will be called off, it isn't expected to rain tomoz as long as they have covers or under soil heating we should be fine.
DennisNedry Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It needs to either stop raining so the game can go ahead with no negative affect on play ORIt needs to rain so heavily the game is postponed. It will probably be in the middle. Meaning we have to play on a shit pitch and end up losing our winning run.
Dynamogoon Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I once knew a bloke who spoke to a geezer that's mate worked for Bournemouth. He told another bloke I kind of know that he once saw a pitch that had been rained on in a similar fashion to that of tomorrows. Ultimately he told me that the game will definitely be called off.... unless it passes it's inspection thus allowing it to be played on. Apparently the game will then be ON. Hopefully this sheds some light on the situation.
Bert Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Looks like outside the premier inn That's where I'm staying!
StanSP Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 That's where I'm staying! You staying before tomorrow?
