Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 That's mostly about coastal flooding, though. We're more inland than that with their ground. Agree the ground is miles away from the seafront and well away from danger, i think the message is more just keep away from the seafront itself! was planning on having a jog down there tomorrow morning!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Just arrived and it's absolutely pissing it down! Well they have the beach
Guy Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It's been bucketing it down here all day long in Plymouth, horrendous. Just hope it's not going to transfer across and do the same on Bournemouth all night long right up to kick off tomorrow!!
Rich Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 They will want game to go ahead as it will give them a getter chance ad it won't suit our passing fe one bit. If it's on I don't think we will win.
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 No doubt it'll be on, we don't get games called off you only have to look at the farcical scenes at Ipswich and Boro last season. It'll be a bloodbath
Chairman of the Bored Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 That's mostly about coastal flooding, though. We're more inland than that with their ground. Agreed, but much rain forecast and I can't see their pitch holding out. Rain forecast throughout the night: http://uk.weather.com/weather/hourByHour-UKXX0021:1:UK?pagenum=3&nextbeginIndex=18 I still think it will be off.

MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Ian Stringer â€@StringerSport20m Bournemouth FC tell me there are no plans for a pitch inspection before tomorrow morning for their game vs #lcfc
Matt Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Hope it goes ahead, i've seen comments of it gives our players a much needed rest but whilst that is true there can be alot said for maintaining the good run and a break could be potentially disruptive towards that, besides it may mean a rest this weekend but it also means we'd need to slot a game in somewhere meaning they'll be an 'extra' fixture in the coming weeks. I can't see any real benefits of it being called off.

Who is telling you this, cause I don't think a BBC journalist would make stuff up like that.Would of thought he'd be in contact with Bournemouth considering he'll be sitting in there commentary box tomorrow.

Spudulike Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Stringer didn't say there wasn't going to be a pitch inspection. He just said there wouldn't be one before tomorrow morning.
David Lowe Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Stringer didn't say there wasn't going to be a pitch inspection. He just said there wouldn't be one before tomorrow morning. Probably because there's a cover on it! How can you inspect a cover?
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Colin Hall â€@Ultra_Fox17m MT @MelissaEllenW: Just spoken to my uncle who's a steward at Bournemouth - pitch inspection at 9 am tomorrow. << Not looking good.. #LCFC
