kingfox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Sky Sports News â€@SkySportsNews 1m BREAKING: Swansea sack manager Michael Laudrup #SSN
Kitchandro Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Christ on a bike. I know they've been shit recently but who the fvck do Swansea think they are? You know the world's gone bonkers when 12th in the Premier League isn't good enough for Swansea.
Stadt Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Depends who they get in but I think it'll be a step backwards.
One Legged Beaver Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 A quickly a year passes by in football. He was a God and untouchable just less than a year ago winning their first ever major silverware. The loss of Michu has been a big blow to them this season.
Samilktray Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Swansea have peaked now, its all downhill from here. Never gonna get a better manager than Laudrup.
rico Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Didnt Laudrup commit himself to them in the summer when he could have moved on?
Donut Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Christ on a bike. I know they've been shit recently but who the fvck do Swansea think they are? The know the world's gone bonkers when 12th in the Premier League isn't good enough for Swansea. Dont think its much to do with league positions
Mark_w Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Please give Nigel a new contract, I'm scared whenever this happens.
Guest MattP Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Mixed feelings. Not doing a bad job but when he is courting Ngog and Schulpp you can see clear cause for concern.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Please give Nigel a new contract, I'm scared whenever this happens. He'll stay until the end of the season. He's a man on a mission.
AKCJ Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Can't believe the reaction on here. Yes he's been successful in the past, but he's been found out and doesn't look interested. I'd say it's time for change there.
One Legged Beaver Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Please give Nigel a new contract, I'm scared whenever this happens. I'd feel pretty confident that they wouldn't go for Nige. As well as he's doing he doesn't come close to fitting their style of play.
Corky Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Can't believe the reaction on here. Yes he's been successful in the past, but he's been found out and doesn't look interested. I'd say it's time for change there. Has he been found out? Really? Or did he just achieve so much last year and this is their natural level?
davieG Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 As I said in another topic don't be surprised to see Swansea and WBA back in the Championship before too long. Mid table in the Prem is the real place for Illusions of Grandeur.
RowlattsFox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Had a feeling laudrup would be gone in the summer but didn't expect it to happen now. They should probably have strengthen more in the summer but how much of that is down to laudrup or the chairman not releasing the funds. The amount of managers getting sacked is getting ridiculous. May as well have a draft system for managers every summer, every club gets a new manager every year. Ends up being like that for most anyway.
foxoffderby Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Premier League is a joke I only just started watching it again last month with the prospect of us going up. Stopped watching it 2 years ago predictable us hell. Money, money money and too many oversees players with average ability. Laudrup did a great job he will go onto bigger and better things. Shame on Swansea. I hope we don't treat NP like this next season if we go up.
Vacamion Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Football is nuts sometimes. Wonder who they have lined up...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Mixed feelings. Not doing a bad job but when he is courting Ngog and Schulpp you can see clear cause for concern. Don't think he was courting Schlupp. I reckon it's Schlupps agent who was the one Pearson was referring to (but not naming) as a clown who is always trying to unsettle players. Would fit in with Schlupp being ridiculously linked to Man Utd at this time last year.
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Any position in a league in which they are punching far above their weight, I'd say they are two leagues above where they should be, they ought to be grateful. Hope they go down with Cardiff this season now. Wrexham must be missing their local derbies. Mind you, they need a promotion first.
Des. Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Would Malky Mackay be there best bet?Not sure how Cardiff fans would feel mind you...
