Kenny Burns talking sh*t!

There's some things in here that reall y makes him look like an idiot!!

IF Forest beat Leicester City it's on.

If the Reds get revenge for the final day of last season when the Foxes cruelly ended their dream of promotion into the Premier League, they can win automatic promotion back into the promised land and avoid the lottery of the play-offs.

Let's face it, it looks like Leicester are going up.

Seven points clear at the top of the Championship, they are in the driving seat to win the title.

And if Forest can beat them at the City Ground on Wednesday night they can join them as runners-up.

I still think they need to sign a top quality midfielder to fill the void left by the injury to key man Henri Lansbury for the run-in.

But they are only six points off second place now so three points against City will not only move them to within striking distance of Burnley, it will give them even more confidence, not that they need any being unbeaten for so long in the league.

The stakes might not be as high as they were on that dramatic day in May when the Reds lost 3-2 to Leicester to miss out on the play-offs by just one point.

The fate of both sides is not going to be decided by the result, but, make no mistake, it's still a hugely important game and it's one Forest can definitely win.

They have already beaten Leicester this season, winning 2-0 at the King Power Stadium, even though they had to defend for 89 minutes.

I don't think that will happen this time.

Forest are a different proposition at home and they will go for them.

I know Leicester are top, but they are nothing fabulous, and I really think their defence is there to be got at.

Everyone knows they have Wes Morgan at the heart of it and he was a hero when he was Forest, but if I was Billy Davies I'd stick big Darius Henderson up there against him because he would be able to win that physical battle.

I wouldn't play the new boy Rafik Djebbour in this one, I don't think he's ready for it. I'd go for tried and tested players, ones that have done the business all season.

Kasper Schmeichel is not the biggest goalkeeper either so if we can get plenty of good balls into the box Henderson would cause him all sorts of problems.

It's in attack that Leicester are decent, with David Nugent and Jamie Vardy, who's very quick. I hope the ref keeps a close eye on Vardy because he falls over at the slightest touch.

They've also got Anthony Knockaert, who's a bit of a Billy Whizz, so the Forest defence is going to have to be at their best to stop them.

I just hope Leicester don't come for a draw.

A point would be a good result for them given their strong position, it would keep Forest at arm's length, but if they come and park the bus in front of their goal it will kill the game and make it very hard for Forest, who are really under more pressure to get a win.

The Reds will also have had far less time to prepare for the game because they were in FA Cup action against Sheffield United, while Leicester will have had ten days to make sure they are ready for it, but I don't think that matters.

In fact, going into the game on the back of such an intensely-fought Cup tie might give Forest an edge, Leicester might have relaxed during their break.

One thing is certain, there's going to be a cracking atmosphere, the place if going to be buzzing with Forest fans and a few City ones as well. I can't wait for it.

He's right about our defence.

The Vardy comment shows he's not really ever watched Vardy play. Ridiculous

'I hope Leicester don't come for a draw'. Ha ha

seems reasonable enough to me

i remember the tough little bastrad as a player and wouldn't argue with him anyway  :)

Can't say his too wrong about our defence, this season we have just protected well by just playing attacking football. If we go for a draw we will lose this game I can't see Pearson setting out that way though he hasn't done that all season

Not sure KB has seen anything of us this season?

We are nothing fabulous and he obviously does not rate our defence or keeper.

We have let in the same amount of goals as they have, and although we are not water tight, we are pretty decent.

His opinion of us (apart from our strikers) are that we are nothing fabulous , yet we have played some of the best football I have ever seen from us .

If he got paid for it , I don't think the paper has got its money's worth

"I hope Leicester don't come for a draw"

Fvcking hypocrite warning!

Amen brother.

This was exactly what Forest did to us this season and although they won it was the most negative performance after Watford at the KP this season. Even Barnsley were more ambitious than these!

Hopefully they'll get some of the quotes blown up and put up in the dressing room.

Tell me about it. All Forest did earlier in the season was try and get two goals, which they sadly did, while kicking absolutely everything out of our players.
