Dan Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Just laughable. I hope it's not true that we're campaigning alongside them to overturn FFP. I want no association what so ever with a joke club like them.
Beliall Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 hopefully they'll slide to the bottom of league 2 where they belong
Dan Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 So they either go up and receive a world record fine, or they don't go up and pretty much have admin nailed on. Can't say it isn't deserved. They've been the biggest joke in English football for a while now.
MC Prussian Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Increasing staff costs alone amount to roughly £20m.
Beliall Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Increasing staff costs alone amount to roughly £20m. harrys facial reconstruction team, working daily to prevent his jowels decending further
Tommy G Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 No wonder Harry is twitching Fernandes must be looking to sell up soon and jack it all in. What a Nob
ScouseFox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 hope they just cease to exist sooner rather than later, bunch of nob jockeys
Fox92 Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Hughes started all this. Look at some of those names, consider how much they would have been/are on.
ealingfox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Have I missed something, or is that article talking as if they'll be fined or embargoed this summer? It's next summer when the punishments start no?
Guest MattP Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 lol Well at least they have a manager to sort it out who doesn't have a history of spunking money down drains and sending clubs to the wall. Tony and Harry. What a combo, only in England.
Stadt Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 What makes me laugh though is that at the start of the season Fernandes was saying he wouldn't throw ridiculous amounts of money at it nor would he let agents walk all over him. They want a new stadium as well don't they?
Raj Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 This the same QPR Who who were singing" we've got more cash than you!"to chekski fans when they got taken over!!!!! Fooks!!!
Corky Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Hughes started all this. Look at some of those names, consider how much they would have been/are on. Yes, these accounts are under the Hughes regime mostly. But what will the 2013/14 accounts show, with the loss on TV revenue this season and the outlay on the squad? http://www.qprdot.org/viewtopic.php?t=71696&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Rangers fans are rightly pretty livid.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 In other news though, fair play to Swansea. League Two in 2004, new stadium in 2005, promotion to the Premier League in 2011, League Cup winners in 2013 and turning in a profit in the Premier League in 2014. They really do show what can be done with a well managed, well run club that isn't the biggest in the world, and are probably the template we need to follow next season. It's all in stark contrast to the likes of QPR and Cardiff who've spent like pissed up sailors on shore leave.
One Legged Beaver Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 I think just about everyone outside of QPR saw this coming to be honest. How their fans seemed oblivious to it all and considered Fernandes to be some sort of Demi-God is beyond me. And to think my QPR supporting housemate took the piss out of me for our losses the other day
SystonFox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 So they either go up and receive a world record fine, or they don't go up and pretty much have admin nailed on. Can't say it isn't deserved. They've been the biggest joke in English football for a while now. Forest are over taking them slowly
Langston Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 They'll implode sooner or later, quite literally everybody bar those involved with that club could see the way they went about approaching things wasn't sustainable.
StanSP Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Have I missed something, or is that article talking as if they'll be fined or embargoed this summer? It's next summer when the punishments start no? Next summer, but because they've made such a big loss season, and the unlikelihood of getting promotion, as well as the squad they have, they're gonna have to perform some kind of miracle to avoid an £8m loss for next season.
MC Prussian Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Next summer, but because they've made such a big loss season, and the unlikelihood of getting promotion, as well as the squad they have, they're gonna have to perform some kind of miracle to avoid an £8m loss for next season.Which in turn means they won't be able to keep that squad together. I'm all up for some bargain hunting there this summer - is there a QPR player we'd be able to afford and who would fit into Nigel's team?
