Tuna Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I am really fed up with the over promoting of the so called Ginger Mourinho Mr Dyche and endless talk of Burnley's so called shoestring budget. Trippier / Mee ? Undisclosed fees (1 million pounds at a guess?) Kightley - on loan from stoke, probably paying half his premier league wages (10 - 15,000) p/w and a loan fee which is probably 3 figures. Jason Shackell - 1.7 million. Danny Ings - 1 million. Sam Vokes - 350 k. Lafferty - 150k Edgar - 350 k Wallace - undisclosed fee (1 - 1.5 million ?) Barnes - 700k Long - 'six figure fee' Treacey - 'six figure fee undisclosed' Marney - 500k Stanislas - 300k Doesn't look like a club with a shoestring budget to me. Total rubbish and really fed up with it.
Sir Shep Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well Leicester and Burnley are both promoted by April, how many "experts" saw that coming. Too many we're swooning at the likes of QPR and Watford, not forgetting their heros of the Prem, Wigan etc. Still I say its a big F U from us both because I'd confidently say I know as much about championship football than any BBC 5 Live muppet.

chapero82 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Didn't we get promoted a few weeks ago, along with all the associated congratulations, or have I missed something? I didn't see them do maybe I have
Tuna Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 They even signed Luke O'Neill from us for an undisclosed fee. I don't see many players coming through they're academy and playing in their first team. Rodriguez and McCann in recent years have left, but none at the club currently. Can't develop their own success, have to buy it.
-blue- Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I'm loving this. A siege mentality! . Circle the wagons boys.....
NeilLCFC Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 "... and Leicester were promoted when they weren't playing but Burnley have done it in style" We're that good we don't even need to be playing to get promoted 😎
Guest ttfn Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 They even signed Luke O'Neill from us for an undisclosed fee. I don't see many players coming through they're academy and playing in their first team. Rodriguez and McCann in recent years have left, but none at the club currently. Can't develop their own success, have to buy it. They've bought it with money they've generated from sales of players in their own academy or from developing other players. That's where it differs to us, and to a far greater extent QPR. Austin was sold for £5 million and Rodriguez for £7 million. I'd be willing to bet my right arm that they've not spent all £12 million of that on transfer fees for their current squad. I can absolutely see what Dyche and fans of other clubs are getting at even now when they call us "big spending". But the relentless moaning about it from the "Ginger Mourinho" is disrespectful and bitter.
Stadt Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I hope Dyche doesn't spend any of that dirty premiership money on dirty foreigners and I hope Burnley never move into a dirty new stadium either, or play in a big dirty city.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Some good ol' bitterness and jealousy from the second best team in the Championship.

That said they get a diabolical amount of fans and it's hard not to make a loss, never mind though we're still the supposed money bags.
johnny the fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 why don't we buy burnley and shut the fookers up?
Corky Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Three years ago we were big spending and I'd have had no issue, had we won promotion, being labelled as such. This time, we've reduced the wage bill, shipped out the highest transfers and included some youngsters from our academy (Moore, King, Schlupp), free transfers (Phillips, Hammond, GTF, Nugent, Wasilewski, Dyer, even Whitbread), a loan player in Miquel and many players who cost £1 million or less. The Sven days of lavish spending have gone.
pazzerfox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I don't care what Sean Dyche calls us and how he acts, as long as we get 6 valuable points from them next season!
fuchsntf Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Have some of this now Mr Dyche sir Oy, oy. You should give it to the needy, people..........like me.
BlackburnClaret Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Makes me laugh most of their fans think they only spend what they make... £7m loss last year says other wise! Just to add balance to that, a £1.2m profit this year, and promotion.
BlackburnClaret Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 At what point did so many of you become so bitter? And for what reason. There was loads of coverage for your promotion. In fact pretty much half the Football league show was dedicated to you on a day when you didn't even play. Come on, cheer up you miserable burgers!
CosbehFox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well Done Burnley! That's all that needs to be said.

Ask the Burnley whining manager and racist chairman.
Zapp Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 in fairness we had a hell of a lot of articles, reports, pearson lovers & "wankatons" after we were officially promoted although ill add that theres only one ginger mourinho, and thats the mighty gary megson, let 'em have their fun, we did! and their joy is far greater as they didnt spend many, many pound notes.
Weller in Tights Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Fvck 'em all Fvck 'em all United, Forest, Millwall. Coz we are the Leicester And we are the best Coz we are the Leicester So fvck all the rest. Repeat Been hearing a few old songs at the last few away games, (admittedly only a few people singing them). Time to bring back the old classic above. Sod everyone else.

Unabomber Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 "Sean Dyce get's kicked out of Burnley nightclub, blames little beard."
