5-Live and the stench of jealousy

I am really fed up with the over promoting of the so called Ginger Mourinho Mr Dyche and endless talk of Burnley's so called shoestring budget.

Trippier / Mee ? Undisclosed fees (1 million pounds at a guess?)

Kightley - on loan from stoke, probably paying half his premier league wages (10 - 15,000) p/w and a loan fee which is probably 3 figures.

Jason Shackell - 1.7 million.

Danny Ings - 1 million.

Sam Vokes - 350 k.

Lafferty - 150k

Edgar - 350 k

Wallace - undisclosed fee (1 - 1.5 million ?)

Barnes - 700k

Long - 'six figure fee'

Treacey - 'six figure fee undisclosed'

Marney - 500k

Stanislas - 300k

Doesn't look like a club with a shoestring budget to me. Total rubbish and really fed up with it.

Well Leicester and Burnley are both promoted by April, how many "experts" saw that coming. Too many we're swooning at the likes of QPR and Watford, not forgetting their heros of the Prem, Wigan etc. Still I say its a big F U from us both because I'd confidently say I know as much about championship football than any BBC 5 Live muppet.

Sounds like they have had many, many pound notes after all.

Didn't we get promoted a few weeks ago, along with all the associated congratulations, or have I missed something?

I didn't see them do maybe I have lol

They even signed Luke O'Neill from us for an undisclosed fee. I don't see many players coming through they're academy and playing in their first team.

Rodriguez and McCann in recent years have left, but none at the club currently. Can't develop their own success, have to buy it.

"... and Leicester were promoted when they weren't playing but Burnley have done it in style"

We're that good we don't even need to be playing to get promoted 😎

They've bought it with money they've generated from sales of players in their own academy or from developing other players. That's where it differs to us, and to a far greater extent QPR.

Austin was sold for £5 million and Rodriguez for £7 million. I'd be willing to bet my right arm that they've not spent all £12 million of that on transfer fees for their current squad.

I can absolutely see what Dyche and fans of other clubs are getting at even now when they call us "big spending". But the relentless moaning about it from the "Ginger Mourinho" is disrespectful and bitter.

I hope Dyche doesn't spend any of that dirty premiership money on dirty foreigners and I hope Burnley never move into a dirty new stadium either, or play in a big dirty city.

Yet they've still made a sizeable loss and they've had nearly £50 million in parachute payments. That said they get a diabolical amount of fans and it's hard not to make a loss, never mind though we're still the supposed money bags.

Three years ago we were big spending and I'd have had no issue, had we won promotion, being labelled as such. This time, we've reduced the wage bill, shipped out the highest transfers and included some youngsters from our academy (Moore, King, Schlupp), free transfers (Phillips, Hammond, GTF, Nugent, Wasilewski, Dyer, even Whitbread), a loan player in Miquel and many players who cost £1 million or less.

The Sven days of lavish spending have gone.

At what point did so many of you become so bitter? And for what reason. There was loads of coverage for your promotion. In fact pretty much half the Football league show was dedicated to you on a day when you didn't even play.

Come on, cheer up you miserable burgers!

Ask the Burnley whining manager and racist chairman.
