Fraizer Campbell

The last thing we need is a selection of English forwards. We already have 3, 2 are failed premier league strikers and Vardy who were hoping can make the step up.

Look abroad for a different option, there is more talent out there for better prices.

Not going to improve us much too similar to Vardy and nugent. Would rather have bendtner offer us something different

Bendtner? He always seems so lacklustre when I see him on television, he's not one of the most mobile strikers and money clearly got the worst of him with the way he presents himself in the media.

The guy needs a good kick up his behind.

Then again...  :pearson:

How does them being English make it worse? I also think 'untried' PL striker is a better way of describing Wood, saying he's failed is very unfair.

I was referring to GTF and Nugent. I can't see Wood featuring much next season, plus he isn't English anyway.

My point is English players are hardly the most technical, now were entering one of the biggest leagues in the world we need technical players and unfortunately that's something we've always lacked. We need more than grafters.

What a load of shit you're spouting right there. You're saying don't by English players because they're not technical? lol

Point here is, is Campbell that much better than Nugent, Wood or Vardy? I'm not so sure about that.

He'd be a good addition but surely the goalscorer should be our marquee signing, after all we missed a lot of chances last season in games and a natural goalscorer would be vital and I'm not sure Campbell would be the man to do that, but would certainly take him as one of 4 main strikers (Nugent, Vardy, Campbell, ????).

So would deffo take him, but not as the main striker signing!

A bit underwhelming for me. I can't see us offloading any of our current strikers, so does he really improve what we already have?

I would rank the strikers like this:

Vardy

Nugent

Wood

Campbell*

GTF

I think I'd rather Steve Walsh go out and find us another French wizard!

Please tell me you're on the wind up. I'd  hate to think that anyone actually believes that nonsense.

This could just be a bid to pressure Brighton into accepting ulloa offer. Campbell is too similar to what we already have up front.

I think he's similar to wood yet much more mobile. He's a mixture. Has pace AND strength. Can head the ball as well as find the target with his foot.

I'd take him for a couple of mill...

£1 million, decent enough price to pay for him.

Frazier Campbell is good enough, and proved at times last season, he can cut it at Premiership level.

Wouldn't mind him at all.

To be honest I think we need another striker in the same mould as Nugent and Vardy. Last season when one was injured we lost the pace out of our attack and had to change the style of play to accomadate.

Me and a mate highlighted him as a possible when Cardiff were doomed. Thought he'd cost a sight more than £1m as well, given his decent season in the Prem for a bang average side and the fact he's 18 months in to a 3 and a half year deal. Cost Cardiff £650k though, so with them going down you'd hope they'd take £1m If he wants to leave.   :pearson:   sign him up.

At first I wasn't overly impressed with his return of 6 goals, until I compared it to the rest of the bottom half of the prem an realised that's a fairly normal return.

Only three players stood out much above that Benteke, Remy and Bony. All of whom would be snapped up by a top 6 team given half a chance.

The best of the rest were all 6's and 7's.
