I know he's only on loan but watched Tom Lawrence at Brentford last night. Not even in the starting 11 for Cardiff. He came on on 74 minutes but didn't really do a lot to be honest. Can't see him playing for us again?

Great to see our Championship talisman from 2-3 years ago doing much the same at Brighton at present :) Let's hope he's rubbing shoulders with our stars next season in the Prem. and that he'll get a great reception.........

George Taft promoted to the Championship with Burton Albion. Quite incredible really.

I actually think he didn't play a game for them this season.. Guess he'll go on loan to a lower league side?

Newly-crowned champions Leicester City will reportedly pocket an extra £1.5m from last summer's sale of David Nugent to Middlesbrough.

The striker headed for Teeside in August for a fee in the region of £2m.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Foxes inserted a promotion clause into the deal that would see them earn an added windfall were Boro to join them in the Premier League.

Aitor Karanka's men did just that on Saturday thanks to their 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, which sealed the Championship's second automatic promotion spot.

Nugent scored eight goals from his 40 appearances for Boro during 2015-16.

Was speaking to an Everton fan on sat who claimed to be good friends with Tom Lawrence,

When i asked about where he sees his future he said that Lawrence wanted to stay and work hard to try and get on the first team next season

Good Andy Impey mention in David Squires' Guardian cartoon today. Remember that banter with Hammers fans when he was at City? We chanted 'We've got Cottee, we've got Cottee, you aint, you aint'. Then they retorted 'You've got Impey, you've got Impey, we aint'. (Both players were former Hammers). Am I remembering this right?

Here's the cartoon:

Just seen some tweets, apparently he is too slow and is just a money grabber accoarding to them. Don't blame the lad really. Tried his hardest for us when he played then wanted first team football on loan, not his fault the manager was stupid enough to have an automatic contract option on him. Of course I haven't seen games of him but as long as he gives 100% the hate should be with the manager, not his fault if he keeps on getting picked.
