bluesbrothers Posted 11 February 2016 Posted 11 February 2016 Fine strike from GTF a couple of weeks ago. One of the main benefits of scoring a 30 yarder is it's a shorter distance to jog back to the centre circle for the restart. He shall forever remain a god to me. I guarantee I'm the only person to ever win a bet for him being first goalscorer for LCFC ('Udders away.)
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 February 2016 Posted 11 February 2016 GTF gets shit but he was ace for us in the promotion campaign. Better to bring him on with a lead than a defensive midfielder because his ball retension and passing under pressure was so good.

Way too good to be playing at that level 1

baldeagle Posted 11 February 2016 Posted 11 February 2016 Whatever Brighton paid for him , it was cheap , i think you will see him again next season , he has been superb so far , long may it continueI hope so too I always liked him to be honest

I was always quite impressed with him whenever he played/come on for us. Like you said his ball distribution and close control under pressure was very good.

steveherbe Posted 11 February 2016 Posted 11 February 2016 Good spot, so he was. Stood off GTF though to let him score.

RobHawk Posted 19 February 2016 Posted 19 February 2016 For a trip down memory lane- http://www.football365.com/news/five-managers-inextricably-linked-with-players I just read a very similar BBC article, which was funnier and better written. But you got in first so I won't post it and still your thunder as the ultimate point was the same!
