I'm sure they've played each other before since then but nothing immediately comes to mind. I just really want Argentina to step up by some distance. Stop relying on Messi too much who has carried them formidably so far, but get up to his level at least. Hope this bucks the trend of the less emphatic knock-out games overall so far. Netherlands 2-3 Argentina.

Netherlands 2-3 Argentina. Carried them through the group stage but not so much in the knockout's. Been poor so far the Argies have but somehow in the semi's. That's what having 4/5 match winners in your squad gets you.
