Both would be good additions, but you can't base a player because he was at the world cup and one wasn't. Otherwise we should've gone for Shola Ameobi.....

ATLFox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 (roughly) £14,000 p/w is peanuts for a Premier League striker, who also played in the World Cup. I can guarantee Deeney would be demanding way over £20k a week. Slimani would be a great fit, already has a relationship with Mahrez so the settling in process wouldn't take long. I don't think Deeney would be the most popular among some of our players...
