Grewks Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 The problem is getting a replacement. An offer of £7 million plus would be realistically be considered, but only if we have a replacement lined up. Given the fact that we have spend so long chasing one target in ulloa i am guessing we are not that keen on many other strikers. Would still like us to sign someone like Delort though. Someone young, relatively cheap (5 million euros) and would not be required to perform straight away.

Vardy would be a perfect fit at Southampton, assuming that they keep the high-pressing game they had under Pochettino. I actually think he'd look better there than at any other club in the country and I'd even go so far as to say that, for the job they're looking for him to do, he's probably ideal.
