Alf Bentley Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Thought of Zingari this morning,I do miss the old boy. Wild Zing, you make my heart sing You make everything groovy Wild Zing Hope he is in good health. Firmly seconded, thirded or whatever. After he'd first disappeared for a few weeks (June), I PM-ed him and he replied, saying that he'd had a couple of trips abroad, had been busy putting up fences and fancied a rest (hope you don't mind me sharing that, Mr. Zing). I hope and suspect that he's just been enjoying real life away from the forum too much to have returned yet. I'd certainly welcome his return as a voice of sanity and humour. Come on, Zinger, the forum needs more zing!
Samilktray Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Many posters from times gone by are no longer with us. I for one shall be pouring out some liquor in memory of them tonight.

cambridgefox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 This is a dark day.PM'd the great man and have had a reply. The jist of it is he went on holiday and had a break, but felt he was spending too much time (3 to 4 hours a day at least) and decided to stop.He enjoyed his time on the forum and met some great people, albeit on an Internet basis. His favourite being Cambridgefox( might have made that bit up ).didn't want to make a fuss about leaving and could someday come back. Think the forum is poorer without him,but he certainly left his mark . i personally think there are loads of other great posters on here and the Mrs just said maybe I should take a leaf out of his book as I'm always on it.i can't ,i really enjoy it.well the general chat mob mainly. Glasses raised to a legend.
