Can't believe the reaction after a pre season game

Think I might give this place a miss next season tbh

Time to open the safehouse already?

Why do people worry about people who worry about pre-season?

Now you've got me worrying about uou.

It's about fitness and that's about it. A good pre-season is having all your players in peak condition on match day 1, results are virtually meaningless.

I've played semi professionally and in pre-season we were always told basically to not get injured! It's about going from unfit to match sharp.

Awww, thanks davieG :)

Pearson said prematch that they're a week ahead of us so I doubt he expected us to win and saw it exactly for what it is - a fitness booster.

Don't get all this people moaning about preseason results, I haven't read anywhere that people are worried or moaning about the result.

Looking at the goal today, the only concern I have from today's game is set pieces at both ends were probaly our only weakness last season, and we were undone by a simple cross today, but I'm sure Pearson is aware of that, and will be working on that.

I couldn't give two ****s about preseason results, not getting injuries is a big concern with our small squad, and can I say it without the positive police sticking their oar in, getting the likes of ulloa up to pace, so they don't give the ball away cheaply.

People saying ulloa "sounded" poor...... think I will hold off judgement until I've actually seen him play

Exactly what I said earlier, listening to the radio he's sounded poor, but won't be to hard on him, as I have not seen him play yet, I would expect him to be fit but it maybe a fitness issue.

[a bomb goes off in the centre of the pitch, creating a sink hole that engulfs the majority of the field, sucking in the majority of the players. Out of the pit emerges Cerberus, the mythical three headed dog that guards the gates of hell, he crushes Marc Albrighton with one swoop, and eats Gary Taylor Feltcher limb from limb. People flee the stadium, screaming and trying to contact loved ones]

Stringer : "You're not missing anything, folks. So Gerry, what d'you make of orange boots?"

As said pre-season friendlies are all about getting fitness levels up.

Saying that there are positions up for grabs...so if it was me I would be trying to impress the boss

Just got back from Deepdale

Moore & Morgan to start the season in the middle at the back with DeLaet at RB Schlupp at LB. Kasper despite his error today in goal

Nugent / Vardy up front

Midfield Mahrez, Drinkwater, James and Albrighton.

Got back from this about 1hr ago.

Was very much a dour draw. They looked poor. We looked average at best which was a shame because the pitch at deepdale was like a carpet and would have normally been condusive with our style of play.

Not sure on starting Vardy wide. Trying to work out what that is going to teach NP that he doesn't already know. Ulloa was poor and didn't offer anything but don't want to be overly critical as he's still trying to settle into our system. Moore showed flashes of brilliance at times but other than him I'd say the player that impressed me the most was Chris Wood. Looks a little more settled and worked really hard today.

Overall a bit of a non event of a game but a good workout nonetheless.

Before I embarrass myself like a Grandma at Christmas not understanding the sarcasm of her grandchildren by having a go at people that are just trolling can I just check if the people being negative on here are beig serious or not?  You sound absolutely mental.

Oh, and hello everyone, I have been away for a while.

Ooh, and I have a tiny penis. X

Only listened on the radio but it sounded almost totally uninspiring apart from Moore, who capped his MoM display with an excellent volley from GTS's set-up, and a bit of class from Wood, Mayrez and Nugent.

What's this 4-2-3-1? A way of making 4-5-1 sound more interesting than the dour it usually is? Sounded to me as if we badly missed Dyer's pace and ability to disrupt defences even if only with his directness.

For the first time I'm feeling doubtful. I thought we'd sign at least two or three reasonably exciting players but so far it's all sounded underwhelming.

I see Peter Crouch has suddenly become mentioned in other club's despatches.

Surely he can't have gone downhill so fast and so far that he's worse than Ulloa's been sounding.

In top division days gone by, we used to sign exciting strikers like Frank Worthington and Derek Dougan - people you couldn't wait to watch. Maybe the "marquee signing" mentioned refers to a new beer tent we're bringing in.

Come on Leicester....let's stop sitting on the sidelines and join this party we've been invited too.

Genuinely think think this ulloa (or what ever he is called) is going to make akinbadbuy look like lionel fookin messi.

8-10m is a joke.

Edit - actually if he manages 3 goals this season i will climb the clock tower in town in my mam's jockstrap.
