Corky Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 We haven't had a target man like him since Sir Les.
JonnyBoy Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 he literally has everything, this Ulloa is going to be a very special player

ithuriel Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Looks a really good player, getting better with each game too.
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Love the guy. He has strength, aerial presence, skill and a quality final touch. That said, nothing would give me greater pleasure than shaving that bloody bumfluff off his chin
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I'm as guilty as anyone in being critical of the price tag and that I didn't rate him from what I'd seen. I'm very pleased to have been proved wrong so far, the guy has been fantastic and central to everything we do going forward. I'm already concerned about having a fight to keep him at the end of the season!
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I was underwhelmed when he signed. Captainscarletface.jpeg
weller54 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 When will he get a full international cap for Argentina???
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Never worth £8mil ..... A hitman with you in his sights might be though
ScouseFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 today i discovered he was right footed. mad.
lgfualol Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 When will he get a full international cap for Argentina??? Cambiasso should get him in. Ulloa, Messi, Aguero and Di Maria.
EGBFitness Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 A hitman with you in his sights might be thoughWas waiting for someone to bite lol Definitely doubled his value already in my eyes, been quality so far, great teamwork and clinical in front of goal. Something we have been crying out for. You can cancel 'that job' now ;-)
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Cambiasso should get him in. Ulloa, Messi, Aguero and Di Maria. He's definitely better than Higuain!
lgfualol Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 He's definitely better than Higuain! Totally forgot about him
Narborough_fox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I doubted the £8milion price tag when we signed him... ... I'm sorry Leo. You're worth every penny.

Monsell1976 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Early in the thread I said I was underwhelmed by him, having seen him in the first two games, and said he might get better as he gets games. **** me has he got better, I'm now becoming overwhelmed, everything that he was supposed to be, he is now, and we need hope he stays fit. Glad for the lad, the price tag hasn't affected him, and I thought he was similar to what we had, and payed over the top for him, but he is by far better than anyone else we have for the role.
dbtcity Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Was I the only worried when he stepped up for the pen?? If I remember rightly when he signed the Brighton fans that spoke sense on here said he would bag goals for us but to keep him away from pens..... turns out they were wrong

Haydos Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Time and time again people are underwhelmed with Nigel's signings and time and time again they seem to prove people wrong. This is why I've stopped getting worked up about signing. For the first time in my life I trust our management team 100% in all aspects of their work. I enjoyed the O'Neil years but I was a young lad and didn't really know much beyond what went on on the pitch. Nigel and his staff seem to do some top, top work off the pitch with their scouting, their coaching and with the atmosphere in the squad. Long may it continue.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 8 million, looking like the bargain buy of the season so far

I don't question anyone we bid for now as it's clear Nige and the scouts can see important attributes in those players for our squad. Ulloa - 5 goals in 5 very difficult Premier League games is a fantastic return We are such a well-run club, so many other teams could benefit with taking a leaf from our book
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I should know better than to question Pearson's judgement really shouldn't I. I am astonished at the impact he is having, and this is against the better sides in the league.
