Ulloa

Agree, looks every inch premiership quality, wonder if the song experts can come up with an alternative to the "cost a fcuking fortune" line because he`s a absolute bargain  :-)   Lukaku 28m  Leo 8m

I thought this - it's not exactly complimentary. How about:

"He's our man from Argentina..."

I think I'm right in saying his first three goals have been right foot, header, left foot - the complete striker!  Obviously we shouldn't get carried away in mid-September, but I have been impressed with him so far and he offers much more than I thought he would.

imagine if we'd signed deeney for more than this footballing god lol

Perhaps he'd be making loads of people look stupid as well like Ulloa currently is.

Time and time again people think they know better despite a fantastic signing record under Pearson.

We'd have to do a second verse for Cambiasso!

Every time I read one of your posts I think, "can't remember writing that, must've been pissed".

Quote from Bentley's Roof that sums it up. We paid 8m quid for Ulloa, only 3 million more than for Akinbiyi...... 14 years ago. He's a bargain.

Would so love it if he gets 10+ goals so all these people can eat some humble pie!

Edit: sorry can't get the link up properly, they basically said he was number1 of the top 5 worst transfers this season!

#1 Leonardo Ulloa

Club: Leicester

Fee: £8million

Position: Striker

Best Bet: Burnley/Leicester/West Brom Relegation Treble @ 20/1

There’s plenty to admire about Leicester boss Nigel Pearson but he’s let himself down with the signing of Leonardo Ulloa from Brighton.

The 28 year-old was good but by no means outstanding during his stint in the Championship with Brighton and is a player that should cost no more than £2-3million at most. He’s slow and cumbersome and not the right kind of player to help Leicester stay in the Premier League. Assuming £8million represents a sizeable chunk of the Foxes’ transfer kitty this cash should have been used elsewhere to strengthen their squad.

Cardiff made the mistake on spending big on players last season and that resulted in a swift return to the Championship, Leicester could be following them.

What for chanting and enjoying themselves?

Or they may just like the clothes and aren't infact hooligans?

I said they dress like hooligans not that they are hooligans

Or, "he is our record signing"  or for a real laugh  "cost more than Akinbyi"   :-)

We thought he cost a fūcking fortune,

But he proved us wrong and that's alright with me.

Bear in mind that 5m then isn't worth 5m now - more like 7.5m - so in terms of the value of the money paid, he's only 500k more than akinbiyi

Personally I thought he was a bad signing, but fair play he's really impressed me so far. Makes up for his lack of pace with other attributes.

Really not sure where the Brighton fans were getting lazy from but he's worked his arse off since the seasons started.

Yeah I have to admit it I was worried when I heard comments like that but it couldn't be further from the truth. Obviously he will be judged on the goals he scores but I've been so impressed with his work rate and his aerial success
