Legend_in_blue Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 The word that springs to mind is "limited". I think that sums him up tbf.
Number 6 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I like Leo. I don't think we're getting the best out of him and he seems like someone who really struggles as a bit part player. Truth is that he hasn't taken chances when they've presented themselves and I think Shinji has move way ahead of him in the pecking order. Truth is both Shinji and Ulloa have looked better when not asked to be Vardy’s second fiddle. Need to be bold and play 2 up top, both as strikers.
Drew Peacock Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Rachel Rachel Rachel Rachel Rachel! This thread will now be locked and never seen again...Hopefully with Ulloa inside.
weller54 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 This thread will now be locked and never seen again...Hopefully with Ulloa inside. Throw in Albrighton too and throw away the key!
Grewks Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Mahrez was worse than ulloa tonight. At least Leo actually pressed FFS! But i'm not defending a guy who clearly doesn't fit our style anymore...nor am i gonna criticize a man who is deemed 'useless' whilst Vardy's poor form is labeled as a result of 'injury/lack of fitness'.....How the bloody hell can leo get match fit when he isn't even playing?
VLC86 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Recon it could be time to cash in on Leo. Sure we could get £6-£8m based on last seasons goals and we could put this towards an improved version.

Len Finsbury Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 He's just not mobile enough for this style of play. We've had some excellent target man type players in the past, Roberts, Marshall, Howard etc but none of them would be as effective in this team as they would in a team built around them. When the focus of your attack is mainly to attack space, you need pace. If we changed our tactics to pass to players, then Ulloa would probably fair better. However, Vardy would then struggle. You can't have a tactic that suits every type of player, it's impossible.
J.Lisemore Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Can see a similar sort of situation to Nugent (I know Ulloa scored a few more Prem goals), given his age of 29, I'd say he's probably a £4M player. Would still score goals at Championship level but his days at the top are clearly numbered.

Look at gestede tonight and every time he plays against us....wins 75% of headers.
Chester Dontlie Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Yeah I was having a laugh the other day when noticed Shinji somehow manages to win some of those long balls while Leo can't. What I miss most in his game is the attitude, imo he should be more eager to make an impact, sprint to press the defenders more, get dirty a bit, just leave your heart on the pitch... Seems quite obvious he's lacking confidence, and he won't get much of that unless he himself makes the best out of limited time CR gives him. Well, here comes Tottenham cup game, hopefully he'll switch on.
Dan Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I'm not completely sold on Austin but he's better than Ulloa. Ulloa unfortunately doesn't fit our system and isn't really good enough to compensate for that.
ScouseFox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 he's our plan B but cos he's been basically rubbish this season it means we ain't got a plan B which means now vardy ain't fit we are f ucked.
Cockney Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Oh his name is Leonardo Leicester's number 23 Yes he cost a f**king fortune We really should have got him on a free
Guest Cujek Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 I would have liked to have seen Austin here too Austin was never coming here.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 I'm not too fussed about the FA Cup but it is good to watch other players in our squad. I hate to say it but I am done with Ulloa and Dyer. They are just not up to the standard of the rest of our players. I always liked after before but now getting to see more of him, I can see why Swansea are not too bothered about him.

HankMarvin Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Ulloa couldn't trap a bag of cement couldnt trap a blind mouse with no legs
Jimmy Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 WHAT DOES HE DO!?!?! WHAT DOES HE EVEN DO!?! Give fouls and the ball away
bovril Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Love him for what he did last season but he's very poor at this level, let's be honest.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 I am alright to say he was well over priced now.....utter toss tonight.
