Esteban Cambiasso

To be honest, I'm sick of all this Cambiasso rubbish now. If he really wanted to be here he would be a Leicester player by now. It has dragged on for so long that I don't want him anymore, call it quits Nigel and let's get someone in who actually wants to be here because quite clearly this bald headed buffoon clearly doesn't, we are just a last resort to him.

It would be astonishing for him to end up at athletico for the reason I previously stated. to me, that's just a smokescreen to push the money up. Nigel is trying to get the deal done this week. I guess it's time to tell his camp to put up or shut up and move on if necessary.

Didnt he say it was one of his dreams to play in the premier league?

Last time I looked Valencia and Athletico weren't in it - as great as both clubs are.

Wow... Comeback on here from earlier and come to find that everyone is now not interested in signing cambiasso after all the grief I got earlier!

As I've said before and will say again, we have right group here and that's better than any marquee signing looking for a final wage! Everyone at this club wants to play for this team so why change our approach with signings? If he wanted to be here this deal would of been sorted ages ago or their would of been some public talk from his camp suggested his interested etc to join.

From being a loyal servant to the clubs his served his now being abit of a football sl*g and flirting with as many clubs as he can lol us, QPR, west ham, spurs, river plate, Atletico, Valencia. Is there anymore guys? lol

Redknapp has already promised him if he avoids Leicester now he will snap him up in a few years time anyway

Believed fourth official last time.....will take that with a pinch of salt for now....

To be fair, he's just doing a round-up of tomorrow's papers hence the (Various). He's not claiming it as ITK info.

We should have wrapped it up as fast as we could even before the leak, sometimes we'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the wages the player wants.

This has been going on for so long now that Nothing less than him appearing on the pitch at half time in a big black afro and a pink tutu ( leotard leggings optional) will satisfy me now...

This is dragging on and on and although NP has confirmed he is still trying to get a deal done, my opinion is it's unlikely to happen now.

Since Fourth Official got it wrong last time as well as all the ITKs on this site, I find it hard to trust my wife.

The only way I will believe this is a done deal is when I see him with a Leicester shirt or someone from the club says so.

I think some people in this thread are missing the point a little bit.

What we want at the club is for every player who's here to want to be a part of the team and to buy into our team ethic. That is NOT the same thing as a player actively wanting to join our club of their own accord. What we want is the former, so surely we shouldn't have any concerns over the player considering his options. If he does that and then chooses us, then it's proof that he buys into what the club is trying to achieve and the manner in which we are going about it, and he'll fit in fine.

People are acting like he's decided against coming here just because it's taking him a while to decide on where he wants to go next (a MASSIVE lifestyle change that he won't want to rush). Fact of the matter is - we don't even know for certain how long the offer has been on the table, so any criticism is based on what we've been told by journalists who have so far proved unreliable

I think your right, but it believe the issue in this instance is the level of certainty from a number of sources (media, ITK, foreign media) that this was done and now it appears that he is considering his options again. It's true we have no idea of the details and can only speculate, but if he has agreed in principal to join and the club believe it's happening and now alternatives are on the table he has back tracked then is he the sort of player we want at the club? where togetherness and team spirit are essential this season. Personally I think he is, but I understand the concerns of other fans.

That's why Pearson was not happy that it was leaked, alerting other teams who now appear interested.

As Xen says he will consider his options, and if it's Leicester..then that's who has chose with his family.

I simply don't buy this about alerting others too much. It's fcukin Esteban Cambiasso, one of the best defensive midfielders the game has seen in the last 20 years. If clubs weren't aware he'd left Inter Milan then they don't deserve to have him and also his agent must have done a very poor job. It's been said he wants a " project "

For what could be his last adventure in football. That's why we've got this far with him. Now get it over the line Nigel and let's put the willies up Chelsea on Saturday.
