One Legged Beaver Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Every season Arsenal seem to capitulate the game before the transfer window closes, leading to panic buying. Going By that logic, I'll say 4-0 to us!
Mapperleyfox Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I'd snap your hand off for a draw. Concern is we won't see enough of the ball to create many chances & we'll have to rely on breakaways and set pieces. If Vardy plays and he's fit it might put Mertesacker under pressure if he plays on the shoulder. Think they'll have too much for us over the 90 though, although hope i'm proved wrong.
Silverdaz Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 hopefully Albrighton will play instead of Knockaert as thats why we brought him for his delivery and hopefully Ulloa will feed off this
Tielemans63 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 As admirably as Kingy and Deano have performed we really struggle to control the game when that Drinky / James partnership isn't there. To say those two are crucial to the way we play is an understatement. Most disappointing thing about our return to the prem so far is that we haven't been able to play our strongest team yet. Most teams would struggle with probably their best 3 players on the sidelines.
Silverdaz Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Pearson....BUY SOME ****ING PLAYERS! Dont you think he is trying
Monsell1976 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Expect to lose against the top sides, saves disappointment, any points is then a bonus. I hope Tuesday is forgotten and the performance levels go back to those against Chelsea and I will be happy, even if we lose.
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 There's a good chance that Vardy, Drinkwater and Hammond will all be back. Right now, I'd be pretty happy with a draw and 2 points more than we actually expected from the first 3 games
shailen Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Out of all the teams in the premier league i reckon Arsenal will be the toughest because of the way they hold possession and their high tempo may be too much for us to handle. Having said that they are defensively weak and I reckon we can break through them but for us to outscore them I feel their midfielders needs to have a shocking game.
melrose Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Dont you think he is trying I've haven't heard us even linked with anyone since the Argie!
ozvaldo Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I think we're going to get absolutely spanked, especially if Vardy, Drinky & James, are out.
Foxhateram Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Think we will hold them. Not sure we will make it to full time though. Taking our chances and getting an early goal will be vital!
lgfualol Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Same team as Chelsea but Albrighton in for Schlupp and Vardy in for Nugent if fit. Cant see past a loss. 1-2. Just hopefully no more injuries.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 For the third league game running, I've gone for a loss, once again a point would be excellent but this is another game that isn't going to define our season, they're a much better side than us. The only thing we have going for us they have a absolutely massive game tonight, but having said that they've been playing in the CL and beating teams like us the following weekend for the last 10 years + so it probably wont make much of a difference.

I think the fixture list should have reigned in everyones expectations, 3 points from those 5 games is no disaster. We will stay up based on our results against Burnley, QPR, Palace etc. 10 wins and you will prob stay up 12-13 and the likelihood is you will be mid table.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 We badly need reinforcements, both in terms of key players returning and new players coming in. Our squad wasn't nearly strong enough even before our catalogue of injuries and tonight's result won't do anything to help confidence levels, not just because we lost, which was bad enough, but because we got taunted at times. Three or four nil. How awful!
Dan Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Has there ever been a more even poll? I've gone for win. I genuinely fancy us.
The Doctor Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I fancy us to do them if we turn up. Got to win this, the other half's family are all arsenal fans and, while she doesn't care about football, she'll still rub it in if they win
Silverdaz Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Vardy fit for this or what? No I dont think he will be available thats why we need another striker
