dedlock Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 His set pieces....wow. .....an added bonus!
RobHawk Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Shame the stream was so bad today as I really couldn't appreciate the fact that Cambiasso was playing in a city shirt today. May as well have been Ross kemp as all I could make out was a bald head!
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Definitely still has it. Came on and affected the game immediately as we controlled the early parts of the first half which we hadn't really done up until then. Hope he's able to start games for us. I got so excited seeing him come out the tunnel in full kit. For the first five minutes of the half I was just waiting to see him touch the ball! Like a kid in a sweetshop!
Russ112112 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I was mocked by a fellow city fan at the Arsenal game for having cambiasso name on the back Of my shirt stuff you mate no regrets the blokes mustard.
Russ112112 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I will probably be shot down for this but in my view he's just as good as the likes Gerrard and Lampard and today he shown he's not just here to play out his last days he shown as much passion as enthusiasm as anyone on the pitch if not more. Living legend
Jace Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Wasn't there some guy on the transfer talk page saying he used to watch him all the time at Inter and he was crap and past it? Said he will stand around in the middle of the pitch barely moving and waving his arms around, apparently Inter had been trying to get rid of him for years? He was also boasting about having a really important job and gets loads of girls? Sounded like he was bullshitting about everything
DennisNedry Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I think people are getting a bit carried away here
Xen Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He was fantastic as far as I could tell from the stream, and he's going to be brilliant to watch over the coming season(s). What I'm even more excited about though, is how much he's going to be able to teach James - a player a lot of us were already saying had a chance at developing into a frequent England starter. With someone with as many accolades as Cambiasso has being there to help and guide James on the pitch and at the training ground, I think we could see James' value rise very rapidly.
bovril Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He can play a bit can't he? Like Garry Parker, Garry Mac and Roberto Mancini rolled into one glorious footballer.
J.Lisemore Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I think people are getting a bit carried away here Anybody that can clearly change a game like he did today, deserves a lot of credit.
Haydos Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 There was what I thought was a fantastic moment today where he linked arms with Jamie Vardy for a free kick wall. A couple of years ago one was playing for Fleetwood Town and the other winning the Champions League.

A couple of years ago one was playing for Fleetwood Town and the other winning the Champions League. It looked like Cambiasso told Vardy to turn around and face the ball I thought
SystonFox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Only listened on the radio but he knew he was the best player on the park. Oozed class
benpicko Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Inter fans said his long balls were shit too
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Inter fans said his long balls were shit too Fvcking hell. They were majestic today, absolutely pinpoint. He needed to get away from Inter, they were clearly dragging him down.
Clever Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He Could turn out to be the outstanding signing of the Summer. Nigel was again proved right in taking his time to get his Man. What a Manager we have. Class all the way.
Master Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Cambiasso and Drinkwater together are going to cause some teams this season some serious damage.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Inter fans said his long balls were shit too How do they know he has long balls?
ScouseFox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Cambiasso and Drinkwater together are going to cause some teams this season some serious damage. genuinely up there with the best midfields in the league.
Thracian Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 It was so important to sign someone of such class and presence. It's a statement of credibility and he's a player so many at the club can only benefit from having around. The more quality in a club - on matchdays and on the training pitch the more it will rub off on others - slowly at first but then with increasing pace as others start to reflect that quality. It's thrilling just as it is to see the Premiership table showing we've got five points from such a challenging start to the season. Another thing that's pleased me is our players showing so much belief in their ability. In some ways we're beginning to look like an emerging version of the old Manchester united...with three ex-Academy players featuring and often distinguishing themselves against quality opposition despite the pre-season doubts expressed by a few cynics. . Happy days indeed and surely more to come as the squad grows even stronger.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He looked amazing. Looks so silky on the ball, reminded me of Xavi in a way as well, I think we have a world class player on our hands.

A couple of years ago one was playing for Fleetwood Town and the other winning the Champions League. I thought it was more like "What the fvck am I doing here with this gypsie?"
foxoffderby Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 class act first touch and vision was next level
sdb Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 What's great is that DD looked every bit as good as him too.
crisp monster Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Thee only mistake we've made is that we should have signed him 10 years ago - I blame Wellens
