Surely it should be such a simple skill for a professional footballer to lift the ball into an area somewhere between the goal line and the edge of the penalty area? The amount of times they mess it up is ridiculous.

I didn't think he played well against stoke. Him and king couldn't keep the ball and ceded the game to then first half.

But i do think cambiasso will be one of our great players come the end of may.

Wes may have been wearing the armband but there is no doubt who the leader is. Cambiasso was talking and encouraging the others from before kick off and throughout the whole game. He never stopped talking and organising. He was superb.

Shame he's lost a bit of pace, which showed at times, but bit harsh to be critical of that. Glad he decided to come here and take us to the next level!
