Carl the Llama Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 What would a Stoke fan know about mobile players? They spent 5 years standing on the goalkeeper and heading it in. And as if to illustrate that point, their newly 'mobile' squad couldn't find a way to work a route past our "slow" defenders as their fans were calling them.
Happy Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He is a f**king class player we are very lucky to have him will certainly help us in our battle to avoid relegation.
Jace Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He is a f**king class player we are very lucky to have him will certainly help us in our battle to avoid relegation. finish in the top half and win the F.A. Cup.
Fox92 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Class act. Hardly lost the ball, and got stuck in when needed. Obviously has an impact on other players as well. Good set pieces as well.
Karljohn Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Still laughing my tits off at how we've pulled this deal off, going to be a huge player for us.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He was class - You can see why he's played when fit for Inter Milan for the last ten years. Also let's not overlook the impact Drinky had as well - great to have him fit and back, massive player and if him and Cambiasso stay fit all season we'll have no problem staying up.
weller54 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He is a f**king class player we are very lucky to have him will certainly help us in our battle to avoid relegation. ...or help us secure a Champions League place???
red5 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He will be even better when he gets a pair of shorts that fit
MC Prussian Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He gave the side so much more security and acted as a deep-lying anchor with the odd run going forward. His vision is exquisit - he delivers long balls with such ease. Can't wait to see what he does in a full game.
dedlock Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I thought it was a journalist's wind up when it was first speculated.NP's 'balloon head' reaction suggested it was serious. When he signed he spoke of wanting to come to City. What is clear, even on the bench,he is involved, pointing, calling. When he came on his vision and class were clear.O.K.he's in the twilight of his career but it's clear he's no mercenary. Exciting times ahead.
VLC86 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Comment on the Oatcake 'Cambiaso played one great ball but don't think he will be mobile enough for the PL, but we'll see.' Think the Stokies must be high on drugs. Probably having withdrawals, ******.
pSinatra Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Looked fit & up for the challenge of the PL. Where's that Italian box manufacturer now? Telling us he was fat & past it
Fatbloke Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He is a f**king class player we are very lucky to have him will certainly help us in our battle to avoid relegation. Agree with the first part Happy, absolute quality, stood out a mile and was also clearly talking to the other players and giving advice, disagree with the relegation battle bit though I honestly think we`ll be OK and battling in the mid table region :-)

Durnerz Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Looks the part in a Leicester shirt and dictates the play like a master
sdb Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Looked a class above to me, along with DD. Even against the likes of N'Zonzi and Whelan (who I rate v highly), they looked really comfortable.
Solihullfox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 On that second half showing the guy could be a legend at the club - he talked, organised, found space, effortlessly found team mates with simple and incisive passes, crossed the ball in to the area brilliantly and was competitive from the off. A quality half of football. Have to say Drinkwater looked good as well and can see the whole midfield benefitting from Cambiasso over the season both on the pitch and during training. Must start next week.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Still makes my jaw drop to the floor that anyone thought it was a mistake to sign him, or even a gamble come to that.
Craig Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I was excited when he signed, and now I'm even more excited. Different level.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I live near Stoke and on the train home we overheard several Stoke fans commenting how good Cambiasso was. I just enjoyed the buzz of walking past the local stoke supporters pub in my Leicester top. Wonderful feeling!
JonnyBoy Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 gotta say that diouf looked very good when he came on i shat myself
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 The only time he lost the ball was his dummy for Schlupp! Class above.
J.Lisemore Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Really did change the game to be honest. His influence and calmness on the ball showed in that 2nd half and in the end, thought we won the midfield battle.
