Cambiasso

If second half yesterday is anything to go by, he could be a massively good signing.

Not just his quality: consistently accurate first-time passes, good interventions, a couple of astounding long balls and instantly able to play well with his teammates.

His body language was very promising: regularly giving guidance and directions, and also looking like he was committed to the cause and enjoying being at Leicester. Didn't look for a minute like someone who was just winding down his career and getting a last pay-day.

One game is only one game, but could be a signing that helps the club to success over the next 2 or 3 seasons, through influence on others as much as his own contribution.

Drinkwater slightly more advanced than cambiasso and either of Hammond and James depending on fitness looks the way to go based on that second half. Concerned what this means for nuge though, can't play a full 90 as a winger? Can he? Mahrez one side of ulloa, Schlupp, Knocky, nuge, Vardy, albrighton and Lawrence, maybe even Powell, wood and GTF too all wanting one position?! what the f uck?! How the hell did that happen!

We've got so many options compared to the harrowing days of Gabor Bori

Barry hayles winger supreme

I maintain that his was the second best shin-in against Palace in the Club's history.

think squawka only had him at about 80%. that included one or two set pieces as "passes" though and the ball over the top to ulloa that was just intercepted to win us a corner.

There is no sense here that we're getting carried away after only a substitute appearance in one game is there?

I want to lie on the floor and let him piss all over me!

I get that feeling too but he was so fvcking good it's hard not to! First appearance for us and he asserts control on the game with ease. Passing, set-piece delivery and organisation all excellent.

We've all allowed ourselves to get carried away for sure but with what little we've seen of him I think we now have good reason to do so.

Hammond has the shirt, he should keep the shirt till he don't perform... nige treats every player the same, and they know it..its his credibility... dean has been great so far..

This aint a Sunday League team mate lol

The impact Cambiasso had on Sunday was evident we were a much better side with him in the middle. We actually played a bit a football in the second half and looked like we could ask a few questions ourselves as opposed to the first half where it was just Stoke attack after Stoke attack.

Cambiasso should be starting, as should Drinkwater for that matter, if we were to make a three in midfield and use King or Hammond as well as we did Saturday then I'd have no complaints about that but those two are far and away the best to midfielders at the club (while James is out at least) and should be playing. Even more so with that rampant Man U team coming to the King Power on Sunday.

It's not that out of the ordinary for Cambiasso to have been terrible for Inter at the end of last season, they were terrible at the end of the last season and if he knew he was leaving the motivation may have simply not been there.

That certainly wasn't the case on Saturday and honestly, he looked physically as fit as anyone on the pitch. With his knowledge of the game, if he stays committed and stays fit, I'd put him in the top 5 or 10 CM's in the PL.

He just did everything very well, not flashy but very very solid, reliable and opened up the game.

I hope he doesnt ''do a fernandes''

Remember all our fans calling him Viera after the Cov game then he fizzled out....

Junior Lewis looked alright against Chelsea, too....

He did look tidy and clever on the ball - I'm just not seeing why he was supposedly so fantastic on Saturday.

I think he will be a fantastic player for us though over the season, he certainly showed glimpses of class.
