Think 4-3-3 against Palace is a bit too risky, at times yesterday in the first half both United full-backs were bombing forward, as well as Di Maria who was causing problems down both flanks, De Laet & Konchesky at times were crying out for support. We seen in the Championship what the likes of Bolasie & Zaha can do to us, they terrorised us a couple of season's back. We can't leave De Laet & Konchesky up against them two, without playing wingers in front of them, who will track back & defend as well as help on the counter.

4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 again for me, has worked so far. Vardy back to the bench, bit mad but Nugent behind Ulloa has worked in games so far, and away from home Nugent I think is a better option when it comes to dropping back & helping out the midfield. Hammond for me is a more physical presence, we need someone in midfield who can compete with Jedinak's physicality. While for me Mahrez & Schlupp back on the wings makes sense, just to help out De Laet & Konchesky, who could become vulnerable against Bolasie & Zaha, Schlupp against Everton, Chelsea & Arsenal really helped Konchesky out & they work well together.

Pearson's second half 433 beat Stoke, his 433 vs Man U's diamond caused them serious issues at the back - Pearson would be mad not to keep the same team, and same formation against a much weaker Palace under Warnock than Pulis.

 

Pearson will have done his homework on Campbell and MacArthur, and we know how hit and miss Delaney can be! We don't need to dominate possession to gain points at home or on the road, I think it will be evenly matched, with our faster and fitter players a la DeLaet, Vardy running at the Palace full backs. 

 

Only possible changes I can see Pearson making will be to adapt to Palace's game - perhaps Schlupp back at LB to cope with Zaha (if he plays), or even on the left side of the attack instead of Nugent, and James in for Hammond - Can't wait for that partnership of Drinkwater/James to be back, only with a rampant Cambiasso alongside them. I think pace will beat Palace, and taking our chances because it won't be as easy to score 5 till we're at Old Trafford

Would like to see Mahrez and Knockaert out wide if we're trailing the game late on.

I think the formation we used against Man United was to stop them, rather than playing our own game. Think NP mentioned something along those lines anyway, which is interesting as he didn't do that for the Chelsea and Arsenal games. That's why I think we may go back to 4411 - hard to change that team mind you.

This is a tough game to call. Confidence in both camps will be sky high after the weekend but if Warnock changes his side who knows what will happen because it's all a new learning experience to them under a new manager. For us, much of the same should see us win because I genuinely believe we have a better side than them but home advantage could be important. Especially seeing as palace are a very well supported club. This really is an intriguing fixture. I really couldn't call it. What I will say is that we're not underdogs for probably the first time this season.

I think he could but we would have to play Nuge up top so he could help out defensively because Riyad is too weak, I'm not one for saying you need to be particularly strong to play in a position but Riyad is seriously lacking.

The same that worked so effectively against Stoke in the 2nd half (who play a similar style to Palace.)
