We'd have been 5th if we'd hung on!

I remember our 'golden era' team throwing away plenty of points against shite like this. Part and parcel of supporting our team, I'm afraid. Is it good enough? Of course not, but I'm not about to go dancing into traffic over it, either.

As an aside, George Boyd is fvcking horrific. 3 million for that lol lol lol

yeah easy to see why Burnley have struggled with him and juke in the team. two of the worst players ive seen play since the league one days.

Eh whatever. We had an off day but they really are that shit. We'll be fine, they're pretty much down already.

Terrible side.

If that's Nigel's team talk (which it won't be because he's not brainless) then we might as well start booking our tickets to Vicarage Road and The Valley now.

Another poor game following up from Palace last week.

That is inexcusable.

Even when winning I was willing to admit we were poor and it was a poor game. A draw in truth is a fair result, that does not excuse it though.

We've shown how well we can play, we all know we're better than this.

As I've said I feared the 'easier' games would be where we'd struggle and it seems the case.

It's all well and good playing so well against the top teams but if we're not gonna play well and make it count against teams that will be around us come the end if the season what's the point.

I've gone from not be able to fault any players in our first few games to struggling to give anyone any credit in our last 2.

Very disappointed in our last 2 games.

Let's just hope the international break rejuvenates us and we come back fighting.

Totally agree.

I think our selection has been poor & our tactics have been poor in the last 2 games, but hey, what I do know? Let's hope Pearson gives them a kicking and he figures out how to beat teams around us in the table.

We were poor today and I would have had that opinion even if we'd won. We couldn't string 3 passes together and gave the ball away a ridiculous amount. Very disappointing.

I thought Jutkiewicz actually played well today. He bullied Morgan.

Some pretty fair comments. I thought considering our injuries we gave a really good account. I can't get my head around the criticism of Trippier, on gas and air at the end, we were losing, unless you really think it was some kind of master plan to get injury time.

Nobody is criticising Trippier you gimp. More the decision to waste time when they could have watched him go off the pitch (3 yards away from the touchline) and we could have got on with the game.

Fans go to watch the football, not sit about waiting for something when the situation can be entirely avoided.

To be honest, I thought something like this might happen. We seem far more comfortable as the underdog and look most dangerous when counter attacking. When the onus is on us to attack and break down the opposition we look a bit lost. Palace beat us at our own game last week and now the Ginger Mourinho has done it to us again.

I think 4-4-2 was right for this game but when you're up against a side with no central midfield threat and no creative striker Hammond doesn't merit a place in the 18, let alone the 11.

Why would we want to waste time whilst 2-1 down? also why call me a gimp? Can we chat without the hostilities?

Congrats on the point, was deserved.

Given how wound up we collectively got at man united's whining, this trippier thing is a complete non-issue. Our players have been absolute fk tards in the last 2 minutes. Simple as that.

it's not wasting time though is it. that's why there were 7 minutes added on, you gimp.

Trippier was off the pitch, then came back on it to lie down.

He wasted time where we were more comfortable, resulted in 7 minutes of injury time (which is always nervy for the defending side) and the goal followed.

Hope the guy is out for a long time.

Would like to see you stay up though (as long as it isn't at our expense)

Yep, buckled under the pressure maybe due to a lack of premier league experience.

Makes me laugh criticising Burnleys fans, they know they are up against a struggle and if we were in their shoes today we would be delighted.

Worth being more humble this season as we are going to have days like today.

They thoroughly deserved the draw. Could see the equaliser coming a mile off. Kasper was being a dick for that free kick. Everybody knew where the ball was going. It didn't even look like it was very close to the corner from my view.

Drinkwater needs to get his act back together and Schlupp did nothing of note other than his goal.

Konchesky and Hammond were our best players today IMO.

So he stayed down to buy extra injury time? I'm not saying you're wrong, but do you not think its a bit far fetched? You hope he's out for a long time? Classy.

It wasn't Trippers fault, more the ref who let it go on, then to let them walk across the pitch with the stretcher.

The ref didnt look happy when we were shouting at them to get a move on, actually shook his head at L1 when they were shouting "let him die".

Looks like we gave him the opportunity to "even things up"

Both teams were awful, Burnley however have an excuse.
