Guest Electric Yetis Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 And the Foxestalk meltdown begins. Some people need to get a grip.
The Doctor Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Why was Kasper soooooo far right for the free-kick?! I'm absolutely gutted, we didn't even deserve the point we got, thank god it's an international break now. In fairness to Kasper, he's covered one side and set the wall to cover the other side. The walls not done it's job. The first, Kasper should be doing better, but the second one, he's set up right and been let down by the wall. Was a foul. No penalty for schlupp Eh? Schlupp got taken down from behind - that's as stonewall a penalty as we've had all season.
Jaspa Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 If we'd have won we'd be sat in 5th spot right now We were poor in the second half and we shouldve won from the position we were in. Weve got to take this in the right way and some work needs to go in this international break; its all about how we respond
Foxhateram Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 I am re watching the highlight of the freekick now and I have no tinted glasses on at all. The bloke already has his feet off the ground before Matty touches him! Right in front of the ref as well!
blueharmie Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Burnley deserved a point. All they did was attack secind half. You watch the same game? We were piss poor second half and paid for it. End of. Will be tough to stay up. Wish cambiasso played today to sure it all up. We need better players than hammond.
bovril Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 The meltdown will be because you should never draw a match when you are 2-1 up after 95 minutes. Very naive from Matty James but we weren't good enough. Fair play Burnley It wasn't just Naive from Matty James. It was naive from a lot of players giving the ball away so often in their half in the last ten minutes. Should never have even got to the free kick situation...
Sampson Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Schmeichel's mistake for the first as much as the second. Just stood on his line and feebly waved his arms about when it was there to collect and dominate his area.
HitchinFox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 We didn't play our best team and the performance - and result - reflects that. Shouldn't be in a position we were at 90 minutes - only 2-1 up - against that Burnley team, missing its key players. Still, upwards and onwards - in Nigel we trust. Going to enjoy the season no matter what.

gazzer Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 nugent clear down the right 3 minutes to go. head for the corner, right? no try to dribble past the man lose it then foul back and get a yellow.. and james clumsy challenge on our D with two minutes left when the ref has been ultra fussy ... sloppy.... league one doesn't even do it justice. hope you enjoyed the first few games... from now on its going to be like this...
ScouseFox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 lets be real they weren't very good but we were f ucking atrocious. can't remember us playing that badly for a few years. couldn't have complained to have lost, no complaints with a point just disappointing that it happened in the 96th minute from a completely avoidable situation.
Guest ttfn Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Sorry I'm not having any of this "Burnley deserved to win" nonsense. They barely created anything. We barely created anything. Points fairly shared between 2 shit teams. Difference being they've got an excuse for being shit - by the end their 5 best players were injured. Very, very, very worrying performance
1993fox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Leaking goals. it's fine 2 vs Chelsea, Everton and 3 vs Manchester United. However, 2 vs Burnley and Palace is just shocking. I said it before, and I'll say it again, Ben Hamer 1 game 1 cleansheet, it's this basic. Kasper needs a reality check. I agree that Hamer deserves more chances but I think we need to have a look at our back four too. I think Was deserves a start some time soon to change things around and compete with Moore/Konch/RDL.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 I can feel a meltdown coming on.. Yes, we should have won, but that point could be crucial come the end.. Anger is inevitable with a last minute sickener. We shouldn't go mad, but we do need to change things. Having said that, it's very MON to beat Man U and lose to Burnley. Always fancied us against the bigger teams. Don't think it's a personnel issue, it's a tactic/confidence issue when we're supposed to be the better side...
1993fox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 What a way to waste 2 valuable points in the 96th minute... ****ing hell... Why concede that free kick in that area... James congrats for costing us 2 points. Out of all people it had to be the Burnley supporter to give away the free kick too. But we gave away needless fouls throughout the second half.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Is it just me or did 7 minutes seem excessive?
J.Lisemore Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Defence needs seriously looking at in my opinion. shipping too many goals, simple as that.
GorlestonFox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Kasper should have done better with both goals Positioning was terrible for the second. Thank goodness we picked up those early points. Gonna be a lonnng season
lgfualol Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 And the Foxestalk meltdown begins. Some people need to get a grip. Not really. It's Burnley, with 5-6 main players injured and we let them walk all over us in the last 30 minutes. You can't honestly expect everyone to shrug the loss of two points off, at home, when we've led for 94 minutes.

Points fairly shared between 2 shit teams. Difference being they've got an excuse for being shit - by the end their 5 best players were injured. Very, very, very worrying performance They didn't deserve to win, but we didn't deserve to win after our showing the 2nd half either. They wanted it more than we did and we just laid back.
Devonfox1884 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Is it just me or did 7 minutes seem excessive? I was expecting 6, so 7 wasn't really that surprising.
Guest ttfn Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Is it just me or did 7 minutes seem excessive? It's irrelevant. At least 5 were justified and they scored after 5.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Wake up Pearson! Why the f--k didn't you play Hamer? Kasper doesn't deserve to keep being picked, as today proved, yet again!
Brenfox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 If we had beaten burnley & drew against Man U the mood would be very different but the points total the same.
