Swansea v Leicester City match thread

Drinkwater apparently rocking an 87% pass completion.

That's it, I'm done with statistics. They must not have included the 4 or 5 clips straight to the keeper and the pass out of play.

Are you blind? He's given the ball away at least 5 times. Been turned several times. Just because he's made a couple of blocks and tackles does not mean he's played well.

He's not the only one though. Mahrez and Drinkwater have both given the ball away, and we've resorted to lumping it forward again when Ulloa is dropping deep to try and get in to the game. Nugent's done nothing. Bring Nuge off, get King on and get him going forward.

I meant getting close to his winger, which has been a criticism recently. Much better at that today than at Palace a few weeks ago. They've all been guilty of being careless on the ball, the centre backs especially.

No offence but this is absolute bollocks.

Drinkwater has more often than not looked well up to this level. As did most of our players until the Palace game.

Bringing McArthur in would have made fvck all difference to our season so far. AT the moment Pearson is making what is mostly a good bunch of players look like absolute dog turd, and it's all because of dreadful tactics.

Again, devastated. It's all self-inflicted.

He looked good in patches against Burnley when, against a poor and stretched midfield, he had time to ping it about a bit. Apart from that I'm beginning to have reservations.

Dunno why Hammond and De Laet are getting stick, they've been ok. Drinkwater has been shocking, and he's supposed to be our main link player.

Hammond does seem scared to pass the ball forward. At one point he had Drinkwater ahead of him unmarked and Morgan behind him with Bony close by, and he chose to pass to Morgan. Baffling.

Nugent has done more than Ulloa and Vardy put together. He seems to be getting the blame because he's the only one people have noticed.

I'd take Ulloa of for Cambiasso and go 442.

Simpson, cambiasso, king and Powell next week please. This is embarrassing. Ball management and even work rate not good enough. They look condemned.

The thing is though, Last season you could pick our starting line up every week almost. This year you could make 5/6 changes and its not helping the team. Add in the numerous formations and lack of confidence and its a massive concern.

Now, After all this If we come away with a win in this match I will be bloody delighted!

Nuge is fvcking crap. De Laet is fvcking crap too. What does Simpson do to get a chance?

RDL is not playing that bad, he has a top winger against him.Drinkwater Hammond Mahrez, are being overran.

Swansea are at present the better team, playing a top pressing game. Nugent, Mahrez have to improve their passing.

dont go for the quick smart pass, look for the simple ones, and team up to hold the ball.

Ulloa is being left with nobody around to pass to.

Lets see if city players on the pitch can change it, maybe King for Mahrez or Nugent.

Absolute embarrassment.

That right side of De Laet & Mahrez has been an absolute joke, both can't pass for shit & both look a liability, said years ago if we ever get promoted De Laet would be a liability at Prem level, and he is proving it.

The centre of midfield not much better, Drinkwater playing like the Drinkwater of old, negative & just giving it away cheaply. Hammond looks completely lost. These two got overran by Burnley FFS, what do you expect from them against a Swansea side away from home, who move the ball quick!

Can call Nugent & Ulloa shit all you like, they have had ridiculously poor service from a dire midfield.

King & James on please

Hammond offers **** all, passing backwards and sideways. The occasional interception and pass doesn't cut it. James a Drinkwater works Drinkwater and anyone else doesn't.

De Laet is doing well considering the pressure he is under...get off his back.Mathrez is a luxury that we can only use as a impact sub..he is lightweight.Ulloa is getting no service....nothing he can do.If we don't change formation we could lose this heavily
