Win the ball, attempt a thirty-yard pass on the ground to the forwards which invariably gets intercepted and back it comes. Defending's been okay on the whole but that's all we've been doing for the whole half. Mahrez has been very weak, just can't stand up to opposing attacks on his wing.

They don't help. Lack of support for the front man will make his options limited. Lack of confidence from players will stop them playing badly and low confidence will be caused by playing out of position and having little support. It's all linked to creating a mentality and not having players in positions to pass to.

Sit between their two center halves otherwise we have much less forward options.... e.g. We cannot cross from deep if he isn't in the center of the pitch. Nugent needs to either contribute or drop deeper. He just isn't giving us the options sigurdsson is for them. Why haven't we used the formaition we used against united? Basically it's last years team, low on confidence, with a decent target man up front. That's not going to cut it in this league over a season. Now the early season enthusiasm has been kicked out of us, we are looking devoid of quality and confidence.

Definitely not Mahrez, sure his final product hasn't worked, but he had tried and eventually it will pay off. The other two have done nothing.

This midfield is a joke, Drinkwater and Hammond have done nothing, and we CANNOT play Ulloa, Nugent and Vardy together. Nige has to make some tough choices, . Personally, Nuge and Hammond off, Cambi and James on, Vardy playing off Ulloa. King must feature somewhere as well. It's painful to watch.

Matt Posted 25 October 2014 Posted 25 October 2014 We are ****ing shocking. We can't play simple passes, too many misplaced passes, panicking, and putting ourselves under pressure. Swansea haven't been good, far from it, we've made them the better team. And then going forward we're just aimlessly hoofing it upfield without a care in the world. Have we even got a midfield? Need to buck are ideas up big time, pathetic and toothless.
