We're a side that were in the Championship last season and our players are not all PL quality.  Southampton have been there longer and developed a decent side.  So I'm not surprised that we're getting dominated.  In matches like this we have to scrap for a point.

I thought we were excellent that half. Defended well, tried to play in the right areas and took no chances in the wrong ones. We lack quality which is evident but against such a technically superior side, I think we're doing well.

The mad thing is, if we nicked a goal I imagine we'd start passing so much better and creating more.

Confidence is huge and we are lacking badly. Fair play to still be level though.

We need to clean our attacks up sharpish, we can't expect to keep letting them get at us out wide and walk home with a 0-0.  We'll need at least 2 to win this and I'm not sure we can get that right now.

Obviously came with a game plan to sit back and let them come at us. Schlupps probably been one of our best players in first half (be interesting to find all the Schlupp haters if he keeps it up in second half)
