Rincewind Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who is available atm to replace him? Can a manager at another club be persuaded to come here?
Strokes Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who could do worse?Have you had amnesia? Did you miss the last ten years?levein Kelly Worthington Allen Megson Holloway Sousa and Ericsson, we could do a lot worse, prat!
The Doctor Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 How does any club know if a new manager would do better until they try. With your logic no one would ever get sacked!! Name one manager who would be a better option. It's not a hard question. I'm not saying there's not better options out there, but name one that would come here. I'm not sure on Nigel at the moment, but Pulis is not the answer, and who else is there?
Mark_w Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 How do you do worse than lose all the time and not score in over 500 mins of football? We're not losing all the time.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Took Mahrez off, bought Nugent on. Brought Albrighton on so we could finally get some crosses in... Our tallest attacking player is 5ft 11.
Legend_in_blue Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 It's a simple situation to deal with. Either a) write off the season now with Pearson in charge and keep him into next season regardless; or b) make a managerial change in the hope something might change.
south aussie fox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We need to buy in the January transfer window, we need defenders urgently. Pearson also needs to have more strikers on the bench, it showed that today. Sacking Pearson will achieve nothing at the moment, maybe sacking a couple of players might be better.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 29 November 2014 Author Posted 29 November 2014 How do you do worse than lose all the time and not score in over 500 mins of football? Exactly. Poor all around
sdb Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Really want him to turn it around. I really think he's the right man but what's so frustrating is that this isn't the NP we know and love. His style has changed. We sit back, rush on the ball, play long hoof balls and generally look a bit clueless. All the markings of a Pearson side are disappearing. We don't need a new manager, we need the old Pearson back, and very fooking quick.
VLC86 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 What stupid thing did he do today?! Stuck with a team that got ended the losing run and kept a rare clean sheet. 1-0 after 30 minutes, getting battered and not keeping he ball- should have brought another centre mid on. If him and his staff spend all week coaching the players and they put on performances like that week in week out then something is wrong.
Stadt Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Manager seems to have lost it making silly changes. What like keeping the same team like people were crying out for? Team leaking goals, very sloppy goals in fact. Own goals aren't Pearson's fault. Poor buys in the summer. Like top scorers Ulloa and Cambiasso? All adds up to the sack. I'm assuming that you're brilliant at your job and everything you do us correct all if the time. Will the Thai's man up? Yeah, they're right pussies because they won't sack the only manager that has done well under them. Stop being a reactionary moron. Pearson has made poor decisions this season but there's only so much he can do? Who do we get in if we sack him? Do we spend 2 weeks without a manager and then make a shit appointment anyway?
tickler28 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who is available atm to replace him? Can a manager at another club be persuaded to come here? That's up to the Thais to splash the cash but yes of course another manager would leave their club to join us especially when the Thais will almost certainly throw in a keep us up bonus in their contract

But he signed or gave these players new contracts. Its his job to motivate and win. Simples
eaststand68 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Brilliant!!! Bottom of the league concede 3 goals the sign of a quality team, Pearson lovers get ready as the arrogant clown will be sacked good riddance. They will give him until Villa away, out of his depth and cant handle premier league players ego wise or tactically.
Callabinho Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 This man claimed that we were "better on every level" than Burnley now we are below them, his signings have been completely useless, he persists with shit like Nugent and De laet. What ever happened in pre season has left us massively short, we need a man who knows this league inside out, and the only man who can deliver such is one Mr. Pulis, he's been there, done it, and has the ****ing T-shirt.
Kierzz Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Redknapp showed today that he's a better premier league manager than Pearson. I'm not sure if its the right thing to do but Pearson has about 2/3 games left, if he doesn't get results he'll be sacked. The Thais will give a new manager the whole transfer window. But I do blame Pearson for persevering with De Laet, he's defending and passing is pathetic
nettle Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Still can't understand why he took mahrez off only decent player we have got.
Strokes Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Well we won't stay up with him.Who will we stay up with? Is it the end of the world if we go down?
dayday Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We need to buy in the January transfer window, we need defenders urgently. Pearson also needs to have more strikers on the bench, it showed that today. Sacking Pearson will achieve nothing at the moment, maybe sacking a couple of players might be better. Will the Thais give him the funds though,if not there is no point in keeping him.
pen_3 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We need a new face in, do not give Pearson the January window cash.
Stadt Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 How can people get angry with us playing hoofball want us to get Pulis in to replace Pearson? If there was a better manager than Pearson willing to join us then maybe sack him but there isn't, so we'll be worse if we sack him.

We are better than Burnley on every level, we're just not performing right now. Pulis however is not the answer - we've seen this team can't play hoofball, and that's all Pulis knows
