nettle Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Any manager that's plays decent football would do me.
Bettsj2 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 I'd happily take relegation over watching Tony Pulis turning my team into a hoof & hope side again. Christ, really? You'd be happy to see us back there? Come on man.
Harry - LCFC Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Like us losing 30 million a year in the championship, and with players on long expensive contracts since going up, and will still be I big debt with parachute payments We'll be going straight back up with the squad we have. And when you say "big debt" that debt is of course zero, our owners paid it off. I think we can stomach one bad financial year in the knowledge that the cash will be flowing in again soon.
Webbo Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Any managers from this list? Personally I think Pearson deserves a chance, However from a business and football perspective he needs to turn this around FAST. and stop making utterly delusional decisions, or he won't last long. Paolo di canio Owen coyle Alan curbishley Roy Keane (If he left Ireland) Glenn hoddle (If he left QPR) Kenny Dalglish gerard houlier Martin Jol Brian McDermott Tony Pulis Graham souness Tim Sherwood Gianfranco Zola Some of the better known Unemployed managers Personally would LOVE to see Glenn Hoddle have another crack at it. Ffs are you Pearson's agent? I'd take about 2 out of that list.
iancognito Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who signed most of the inept players on the field today? Whoever it was, should be gone. No more excuses of need to take our chances etc. We are pathetic all over the park. No just at scoring goals but defending is lousy. I am tired of the excuses why Pearson should not go. A defender in his day and he cannot identify a decent defender, alone not organise one. I thought with our run of fixtures next next few weeks we could be bottom at Christmas. Looks as though my Christmas has come early. GET HIM OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON"T WANT TO HEAR ANY MORE SMUG INTERVIEWS WITH HIM IN A LEICESTER TRACK SUITE>>>>ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I have completely lost all respect for what he did for us last season, now. I am sad but we do need to try something else now. Burnley not lost in 3 QPR playing better, looking like they can cause problems. US. Completely hopeless all over the field. Sorry but no more excuses. Hope he's sacked by the morning. You hopeless sad sack. Your Christmas party has come early? I bet you fvcking cried into your alcopops when we stormed it last season. It's negative ****wits like you that make supportiung this team a chore. Burnley haven't lost in 3? So f***ing what? We wen't unbeaten earlier in the season too, did Burnley demand Gravel Throat got sacked? No because they were realistic about their position in this league. We're not supposed to be in the top ten and your expectations are way over our standing - at the moment - as a club. We've been away from this level for ten years, we're not going to be challenging for Europe after THIRTEEN games. Whatever has happened this season, Pearson has rebuilt this club over the last 4 years. But maybe you'd prefer to get the weathergirl-shagging Swede back because that worked really well. Idiot.
Strokes Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 yes it ****ing is .i for one don.t want us to go back to the championship it took us ten years to get out of itDon.t?
Bettsj2 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Pfft. Hahahhaaaaahhaaa. You accuse Pearson of aimless hoof ball and then say Pulis is a better option. I'll store that comment and throw it back at you when you're whining about Pulis. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pearson needs January, he's well aware we'll need 3 players probably more if/when we lose Mahrez and Schlupp for 5 weeks. If he couldnt attract the quality after a record breaking championship season with all the positivity and plaudits, how will he attract them to a relegation battle with a squad with zero confidence?

They are unemployed for a reason..
Guest LCFC_World Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Go to the games then you will have a valid opinion. Anyone that wants Pearson sacked is crazy, it's the players not him.

The physiology of relegation can play a huge part. Not one of the 3 relegated teams are even in the top 6 of the Championship.
Max Power Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 I take back what I said about McCarthy. At least three people have genuinely suggested Glenn Hoddle. We all must have done something wrong in a past life if he gets the job ffs
Mark Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Go to the games then you will have a valid opinion. Anyone that wants Pearson sacked is crazy, it's the players not him. He didn't have to give Nugent/Konchesky new deals though, two positions that clearly needed straightening and weren't.. As a new Premier league side recruitment had to be better.
cityfanlee23 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 They're unemployed for a reason. They are unemployed for a reason.. Pearson will be at this rate.... Ffs are you Pearson's agent? I'd take about 2 out of that list. What are you talking about being pearsons argent for?
Stevosevic Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Go to the games then you will have a valid opinion. Anyone that wants Pearson sacked is crazy, it's the players not him. He bought them all and did not strengthen in the summer - that is his fault.
lgfualol Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Everyone thought Wigan, Reading, Fulham would go back up.
bovril Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 He got lots of wins in the 2nd and 3rd division, for which I'm eternally grateful, but he's out of his depth. Unfortunately, so are 7-8 of the first XI.
Bettsj2 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Go to the games then you will have a valid opinion. Anyone that wants Pearson sacked is crazy, it's the players not him. The majority of which have been playing for him for at least 2 years so he should know them Inside out and get them motivated. For some reason though he cant.
iancognito Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 If he couldnt attract the quality after a record breaking championship season with all the positivity and plaudits, how will he attract them to a relegation battle with a squad with zero confidence? Betts, who do you think we could attract, Pearson or not? Even in the current situation, decent players will still come. Anyone with a point to prove will come. Go to the games then you will have a valid opinion. Anyone that wants Pearson sacked is crazy, it's the players not him. +1

With much of the same squad from the last time we got promoted I think we could be fairly confident of going straight back up. It's certainly more likely than a new manager coming in and being the difference between survival and relegation this season. Its not a given we would come straight back up. The physiology of relegation can play a huge part. Not one of the 3 relegated teams are even in the top 6 of the Championship. That's because they've all had to rebuild. We'd only have to rebuild if fans calling for Pearson's head are listened to.

kingfox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We could go to Real Madrid, and instead of asking for Ronaldo ask for Paul Clement instead.
