burbage12 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 LCFC fans = memories of flies.. How true, I Thought we played ok a bit of luck and it could of gone either way. one thing Nugent is not premier league.
lgfualol Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Well we won't stay up with him. But he'll give us another shot at promotion next season :-)
Mark_w Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who Mark w! You don't say... Let's sack Nigel Pearson at the end of 2012/2013 because the Championship Play-Offs are as far as he can take us, bring in a manager with just more tactical nous (Gianfranco Zola for example), and line up with a central midfield pairing of Jay Emmanuel Thomas and Lee Cattermole. Glass houses.
ousefox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Took Mahrez off, bought Nugent on.Mahrez was wank
nettle Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Come on owners - get rid of this baffoon All the Pearsonites would still defend him if he took us down to non league - far too many inept and pathetic Pearsonite so called supporters in our club. Get rid of Pearson and all the thick Pearsonite plonkers who just say who do we get in bah bah bah Answer is anyone will do at least as good a job - we are bottom of the league you planks so stop with your Pearsonite pathetic and disturbing love for the man and start supporting what is best for the club who as Pearson puts it 'Don't bother turning up' Although the reality is all the Pearsonites don't actually go to the games anyway. Pearson is history and when the new better manager comes in it will be interesting to see if the Pearsonites support the new manager as they claim to support the club - but we all know different - they love the man and not the club whereas the real intelligent fans love the club Cue all the loony pearsonite responses and insults - pathetic the lot of you and you should hang your head in shame I bet you all loved Peter Taylor also Pathetic and makes me ashamed to be associated with such pathetic Pearsonite plonkers as part of our club Pearson is history so get over it and start supporting the club you morons

roger the dodger Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Who will we stay up with? Is it the end of the world if we go down? yes it ****ing is .i for one don.t want us to go back to the championship it took us ten years to get out of it
Stevosevic Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We're going down with Pearson, seems some are happy to accept it.
Harry - LCFC Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Not that it's at all a certainty as some people would have us believe, but I'd accept relegation if we could be confident we'd be going into next season with the same set up. Whereas relegation is damaging for clubs like QPR and Cardiff who have a short-termist approach it wouldn't be for us if we managed ourselves properly.
Richard Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 If we're gonna get rid, now's the time. 1 month for the new man to evaluate the squad before Jan. Would be ridiculous to let this rut continue until Feb and then sack him. We stick or twist, and we decide soonish
1993fox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 I'm not quite Pearson out yet, but if he doesn't buck this trend then let's remember it took us 10 years to get here. No man is bigger than the club. I will only judge him during the January window. If he doesn't make significant changes, I'll be very happy to see the back of him as much as I appreciate his work in the last 5 years.
HankMarvin Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 We are better than Burnley on every level, we're just not performing right now. Pulis however is not the answer - we've seen this team can't play hoofball, and that's all Pulis knows Apart from points and form not sure how you come to that conclusion when it was 2-2
wattolcfc Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 The Thais, if generous, will give him until the end of December, but if things haven't started to change I feel they will give hi, the boot. Personally I would persist with Nige, we owe hi, that at least. 10 years seem to be easily forgotten by many of you, but not by me, the man deserves the chance to turn things around - stranger things have happened.
Max Power Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 I'm wavering on Pearson right now but some bloke has just brought up Mick McCarthy as a possible replacement and I don't know what to think about anything anymore.
Monsell1976 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Sat on the fence in the Pearson out thread, but it's looking more and more likely he won't cut it at this level. So naive tactically, we are becoming so easy to score against and beat. All depends on the owners aspirations, if they accept is a one season outing in the top flight, might as well keep him, if they want to stay up, he's not the man to do it, so get rid whilst someone has time to stop the rot.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 29 November 2014 Author Posted 29 November 2014 The owners will have a plan in hand. My guess they have already had talks with new managers. Just waiting for the confirmation on Skysports of the sacking. Got to happen!
5waller5 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Difficult position for the owners .... Right now I think it's a 50/50 decision they have on their hands. Tuesday sways the balance slightly either way.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Haha Pearsonites, he's not a early Communist politician and philosopher.
Lionator Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Whatever the case, the absolute last thing Nige and the lads need are fans getting on their back. We turn up on Tuesday night, we support our team, we support our manager.

People defending Pearson say who would you get in to replace him....and what do you come up with in response? Sweet FA Anyone will do at least a decent job?!!....you are a joke

HankMarvin Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 The worrything about Pearson is that it appears he is a momentum manager when things are good they are very good, when there not he struggles massively to stop that happening. Look at the 16 odd game run when we was in the top 2 initially 2 years ago and scrapped the playoffs last day of the season. A good manager can be defined by how he bounces back. Nigel seems to struggle with this
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Something probably will happen, purely based on the next 2 games being on the telly, amazing how many times things happen at a football club just as the cameras roll in!
nettle Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Nige has been found out. Tactically inept just a step to far for him unfortunately.
