Bert Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Hope season ticket holders can buy 6 tickets againNo chance unless we've got a 120,000 seater stadium somewhere.
la domestique Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Any danger of reducing the ticket prices as it will be an understrength team..........doubt it.
Voll Blau Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Any danger of reducing the ticket prices as it will be an understrength team..........doubt it. It best not be!
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Although we've got Liverpool two days before on the 1st, our next game is a week later. No need to be fully understrength surely, especially against a side like Newcastle.
Stadt Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 It'll probably be Hamer RDL Moore Upson Konch Albrighton King Hammond Lawrence Powell Nugent
Dan Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 It best not be! Probably will be. Naturally think changes would be made anyway considering we have a game two days before. Not sure I agree with the scheduling of this season to be honest. The amount of breaks we've had during the year yet we'll play 4 games in the space of 8 days.
LCFC Rennie Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Yeah we really need ANOTHER match for players to pick up injuries or suspensions. Great shout that.... I was thinking about me and my mates getting pissed in Newcastle really. You probably don't understand.
LCFC Rennie Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 L1 to join Union FS in SK1 for a game? I certainly am. A few of my mates are coming as well.
Raj Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 I was thinking about me and my mates getting pissed in Newcastle really. You probably don't understand. Selfish fooker thinking about yourself! Think of the poor players!!!
Voll Blau Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 I certainly am. A few of my mates are coming as well. Good stuff.

We usually play a respectable team against top opposition. There will be a couple of changes, but nothing as drastic as Burton a couple of years ago or Shrewsbury this season.
Dan Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 We usually play a respectable team against top opposition. There will be a couple of changes, but nothing as drastic as Burton a couple of years ago or Shrewsbury this season. I assume you'll see the likes of Knockaert, Albrighton etc... I think it'll be a weakened team that'll lumber to a draw and lose the replay #MagicOfTheCup
Nick Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 So, we play the bench and the kids and avoid injury to key players? Which would you prioritise - for me it's the relegation fight. Apologies to the purists!
Mark_w Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I just hope we can use this game to figure out what on earth we're going to do without Riyad and Jeff.
Webbo Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 The fringe players need game time and I'm sure that's what will happen.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Hamer will probably be the only player to play that started today. Struggling for a right back though so I guess one of Simpson or de Laet will have to play. Hamer De laet Moore Upson Konchesky Cambiasso ??? Will king be for? Albrighton Lawrence Knockaert Ulloa If there were more days between games I'd play a stronger side. We could do with geting the winning feeling back at home.
Spicer Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Knockaert, Albrighton and Lawrence need to be given the chance to prove thy should start whilst Jeff and Ryhad are away.
bluesbrothers Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Plenty of folk who need a run-out to prove their worth, and the league is very clearly now our priority. I wouldn't begrudge wholesale changes - I want to see Lawrence, Moore, Smith and Wood get gametime, and Hammond to have another run-out, as he was excellent as ever at Anfield today and might be able to muscle his way back to being a regular starter. Maybe give Hopper or Jack Barmby a go off the bench? We don't really have much else in defense, and I thought De Laet was excellent at Left Back today, so I'd expect the same back four with Moore in for Was or Wes, and with the ACON coming up, keep Mahrez and Schlupp in to get the most out of them before they go. I'd rest the rest of the "energy" players for the massive home games coming up - so Nugent and Vardy in particular can make sure their batteries are recharged to go for the jugular against average Villa and Stoke outfits. Likewise, Knocky will get his chance in these coming weeks, so I'd have him on the bench, but not in the first XI, to save his energy. --------------------------------Smith--------------------------------- Simpson----------Moore------------Wasilewski--------de Laet ----------------------------Hammond------------------------------- Mahrez---------------------James------------------------Schlupp ----------------------------Lawrence------------------------------- -------------------------------Wood--------------------------------- Subs: Hamer, Ulloa, Cambiasso, Hopper, Albrighton, Barmby, Knockeart
lgfualol Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Hamer De Laet Moore Morgan Konch Cambi. Drinkwater (if fit) Mahrez. Knocky. Lawrence Vardy
Nick Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Is King fit? Not at the moment I don't think - a thigh injury was it? Might be okay for Saturday - unsure.
LCCFox96 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 A win here would be brilliant just to keep morale on the rise. Some of the football played in parts of the last 3 games has been really encouraging! If we keep our chins up and keep performing like we did today then we can make survival happen. A little run of results in the cup to aid such a survival campaign would be a welcome boost too imo. Hamer Simpson Moore Morgan De Laet Knockaert Hammond James Lawrence Nugent Wood
Corky Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Hamer De Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky Albrighton Drinkwater Hammond Knockaert Nugent Wood
Tuna Posted 1 January 2015 Author Posted 1 January 2015 Funny thing is I actually think we will stuff the Geordies 3-0.
