FA Cup Third Round Draw - Newcastle @ home

I might go if it's cheap and Pearson has gone.  He hates cup competitions. Psychological trauma from when he lost to the mighty leicester in the rumbelows final...

So for most of us it's a crap draw. I wonder what Newcastle fans think about it. I'm sure they're just thrilled like us. At least they know they're in the 4th round though.

Most of you lot are miserable bastards,20/30 years ago this draw would of been cheered.I honestly think some would rather stay at home and watch Madrid v Barca.Another excuse to go down the pub and sink a few pints sounds good to me.

That old adage needs to kick in; forget the Cup so we can concentrate on the League. We've certainly a lot to concentrate on.

Either that or we have a fantastic Cup run get to the Final as well as getting relegated!!

My word the footballing gods really are unleashing their diarrhoea all over us at the moment - what a shit draw.

No glamour, no interest, no sub-plots, nothing easy about the tie and we'll almost certainly lose, or even worse we'll draw.

Just fvck off footballing gods we don't deserve this.

This is a great draw, by the time we play, we would have won more, and Newcastle will be on a downer.

plus it sets us up for the next round, Chelsea at home.!!

Really want it to be a draw so we can have Newcastle away again.

Yeah we really need ANOTHER match for players to pick up injuries or suspensions.

Great shout that....

No chance of it being on TV.

Just hope they gage the ticket prices right and the two clubs can come to some sort of consensus on a maximum of £15, I'd love to see it be £10 for ST holders and £12 everyone else, though I have a feeling we're gonna go for £20 a ticket, which will keep the attendance down nicely.

Shame it can't be played on the Sunday instead too with the Tigers down to play, coming just two days after Liverpool and in a hectic period for the club it's surely more likely that both teams will put out weakened teams.

2 days after Liverpool?

Does that mean we play Friday-Sunday-Thursday-Saturday?

If so that is both brilliant and ridiculous. Bridiculous.

Reckon we'll win all 4 by a combined score line of 4-0.

Don't understand the negativity about this draw. OK we could have drawn a lower league team and had an easier afternoon but at least we won't be on the wrong end of a potential giant killing. Losing to a League 1 or 2 team would really have a negative effect on the latter half of our season where we desperately need to pick up and get some results. If we beat Newcastle everyone will be positive, if we lose then its not a disgrace.

I'm so convinced that city won't reach the FA Cup final that I've just booked 2 weeks away in New York flying out the day after QPR, how pissed off would I be if we did get there?
