Will he want Wood cup tied? Apart from that I reckon that's about right.

Now the lads have given us 2 great away performances, can the 20,000 or so that bother to turn up on satdeh actually get behind the team and roar them on to another win please? Cmon leicester boys, make some blooming noise.

Why not play Schlupp and Mahrez on Saturday if they're off next Week on Int duty.

Because we have an opportunity to see their possible replacements in a competitive environment and in our situation, that's more important than a cup run.

Didn't Konch get a 2 game ban as second sending off? For me i would start schlupp and mahrez and bring knocky and Lawrence on second half.

I would play the team that is likely to start against Villa a week later, we will have some forced changes with the AFCON so we need to give whoever is coming in a chance to settle in the side.

No point just giving a load of players a run out for the sake of it.

Lawrence and Knocky to replace Jeff and Riyad, keep the formation Nuge and Ulloa up top, Cambiasso and James in the middle, usual back four and Hamer.

Hopefully see Upson come on at half time.

Obviously any fitness issues should be managed but I don't want to see a make shift back four I want to see a team that can win the game and keep this momentum going.

Albrighton

Drinkwater (if fit)

Hammond

Knockaert

Vardy

Nugent

Smith, Wasilaski, James, Ulloa, Lawrence, Wood, Cambiasso

Mixture of fringe players and players needing a bit of confidence. A win and a cup run would be great, but not the end of the world if we go out.

Anything but a replay.

Clearly need to rest some players with this game starting 46 hours after the previous one, and to give others game time. Moore has to start, as does Knocky and Wood. Doubts over the fitness of King, Drinkwater and Hammond so central midfield may have to be Esteban and James. Albrighton needs a run out too

We have a full week to recover/prepare for the Villa game, so I think we play our strongest available (ie fit and good to go) side, recognising that players like Schlupp won't play 90 minutes, Was needs a rest, while others need some pitch time from the bench:

DeLaet

Morgan

Moore

Konch

Knocky

Cambiasso

Whoever's fit enough to start

Schlupp

Nuge or Vardy

Wood

Subs to include Mahrez, Ulloa, Lawrence, Simpson, Albrghton and any able bodied CM available...

I would mix it up.

Smith

DeLaet

Upson

Moore

Konchesky

James

Hammond

Schlupp

Mahrez

Ulloa

Lawrence

The only big decision for me is do we play Knockaert and Albrighton to get them match fit and used to a system, or do we get the last knockings out of Schlupp and Mahrez.

The other option would be to play the strongest team possible, with Knockaert and Albrighton in place of the two ANC players, so we have a full match of what is probably the team for the following week.

Given this us only 48 hours after an away fixture, I doubt NP will be risking too many muscular injuries. Caught between keeping the momentum going or being dumped out the cup at the first hurdle, I expect (and hope) he will take the pragmatic route. Funnily enough, picking Riyadh and jeff risks them picking up a strain which could see them miss the AFCON ................

Also, the Geordies will see the FA cup as a competition they can win and I suspect they will pick a strong line up.

Looking forward to this match personally. I'm guessing there will be changes in a variety of positions for us.

Wish it was a league game whilst we are playing well but it will be nice to have a bit of break and see a few others get a chance. Hope Knockaert starts

Changes will need to be made anyway given the nature of the fixture list (which is absolutely berserk) but I don't want us to throw this game. I've no doubt it'll be two significantly weakened teams though even though neglecting the cup in favour of focusing on survival is proven to be a myth.

Am looking forward tp this...even though we've had to give to Block....reckon Too will have to field a strong team as they've won look all since the 60s!!!

With no manager either.

We need to keep the confidence high so gotta field a decent team...some of you have put some pretty decent teams up actually.Let some fringe players in but keep a strong spine...
