Benguin Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 His name is an indicator that he can't help us! Anagram = Nay Goal Star!
KFS Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 24, last year of his contract, great range of passing, tackler, dribbler... Get him in.
Cat Burger Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 I saw him play at the Olympiastadion in October where Hamburg lost 3-0 to Hertha. Hamburg were absolutely shit and I wasn't impressed with this guy at all, he sat deep in the midfield and passed it out wide, that was it.
65RosesFox Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Hamburg aren't great Hamburg nearly got relegated last season... Hamburg are dogshit, fella. Only on foxestalk can you find people criticising a team that has spent every season in the bundesliga since it began. We should be grateful we are linked with any player from a team in the top flight.

Soar Fox Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Forest won the Champions League twice. Let's sign all the players they have. Couldn't do any worse than the shite we are playing at the minute.

Merging Cultures Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Might aswell follow his career path and play cb for usYou mean GK?!
65RosesFox Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Forest won the Champions League twice. Let's sign all the players they have. Well no because they're in the second tier of English football. Hamburg still in the top flight and sitting 14th. Haha, ever slagged off Villa? We are no position to slag any premier league team off for how bad they are with our current position.
Robin JD Popley Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Hamburg are dogshit, fella. My bad mate, I just remember growing up they used to be pretty good but if they've gone somewhat astray probably no better than us then sadly. I still think what we need to avoid relegation is more than just on or two new faces though as NP keeps quoting. Still adamant we need more like four or five.

We are no position to slag any premier league team off for how bad they are with our current position. The point he was making is that for 38 of the last 39 seasons villa have been a top flight side, but are far from being a top side. All he doing is applying the same logic as you're applying to hamburg. Both sides were once good, but right now they're sh.t, the current players are the ones who have contributed to that and thats all that matters.

Pointing out that a team was so bad it only stayed up due to Germany's ridiculous play off system isn't really that out of order is it?

indierich06 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Guy obviously has some form of respect if he has 85k followers. Interested to see how this one pans out. IndyKaila has about 200k followers and he's been tweeting bollocks from day one. Wouldn't put too much stock in follower counts.

We should be grateful we are linked with any player from a team in the top flight. They almost got relegated last year, they're ****ing awful. Just because they've got a big history, it doesn't make them a brilliant team.
Raj Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Tolgay Arslan Anyone with Ars and Gay in his name is a NO-NO!!! Tollan GayArs

I still think what we need to avoid relegation is more than just on or two new faces though as NP keeps quoting. Still adamant we need more like four or five. Pearson always says one or two. Says that every transfer window. Let's face it, if he came out and said we need 5-6 then it will really unsettle the squad...
Callabinho Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 He is a very good little player, mainly attacking when he was younger but has opted for the more defensive role in recent years, technically gifted, good passer, and has a rocket shot too!
MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Arslan has been touted a "talent" but with an attitude issue - he got told off by the director of football at Hamburg at least once before. Arslan announced he wanted to play and when he was subbed in at home against Stuttgart two weeks ago, he gave the ball away numerous times and came up with very poor touches.

Sounds like he's trying to get a move...
