The telling part was that he said all the other boys liked him. Bullard was an over paid crock and he didn't like someone pointing out that's what he was. As with Beckford, Mills, Danns and friends what did he do when he left? Nothing.

If Pearson doesn't like you I can imagine its not a nice environment to be in. He doesn't pretend to be one of the boys.

However Bullard was in ridiculous money at the time and Nige wanted him out.
