GaelicFox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Would have liked him to take the FA fine and really f@@king slate the blind ref !!!!
Charl91 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 You could tell just how angry he was there. Did well to keep his calm.
Jakemoore Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 He's learnt to watch what he says. He's still a young ish manager so it's good to see. Having said that, you could almost excuse him for going mental today...
katieakita Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 His silence says it all, the Ref was shocking and needs to be held to account.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 What did Brendon say about the penalties? Some of the complaints will be false.
shade Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Some of the complaints will be false. I think there's been a rape up there?
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Hope he gave the referee a post-match headbutt. Collected summary, pretty much what you'd expect from Pearson.
Matt Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 What did Brendon say about the penalties? Says Wes was unlucky but the 2nd was a clear penalty. I'd have to agree, the 1st was not a penalty at all, the 2nd I wouldn't call it a clear penalty (I know, I know it either is or it isn't) but i've seen them given and if a Liverpool player had done it i'd have been calling for a penalty.

Did you manage to write "I'd have to agree" and then disagree with everything Brenton said?! Fwiw I agree with you I'd want a penalty for the second one but it was still harsh.
Out Foxed Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 2nd wasn't a pen. you can say he had his arm out, but so what, he wasn't the defender directly in front of his attacking number so why would his arms be behind his back. he wasn't blocking a shot.
Corky Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Brilliant interview, you could tell he was livid but decided against ranting and sounding small-time and bitter so did the correct thing and went for the diplomatic answer. Also probably didn't want to take the headlines away from the team and performance with a huge rant.
LCCFox96 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I thought Pearson would make a comment on the refereeing decisions but he his cool today which is good as we can't afford him being in further hot water with the F.A. We need him fully available on match days at all times. That being said the referee today did deserve being told to f**k off and die!
BlackburnClaret Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Pretty much as cool as you like from Nige I've never managed to stay awake through one yet.
Corky Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Oh well, we won't tell you what he said about your club a while back then
Harry - LCFC Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Full interview for those interested. Extra three minutes. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313579
m4DD0gg Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I've never managed to stay awake through one yet. **** off. Burnley manager and the worlds smallest violion 'boohoo we got no money but we got togetherness around my ginger mott beard'.....**** off back to your cotton factory.
EGBFitness Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Spot on I'm my opinion. Technology is needed, pretty obvious during run of play wasn't a penalty but 30 secs to replay and would of saved us going 1-0 down. It's pretty obvious Nige isn't happy about decision, doesn't need to be picking up pointless fines/bans and be unprofessional. Reporter was trying to get Pearson to bite
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I've never managed to stay awake through one yet. and this coming from a burnley fan, Dyche is just rinse and repeat with his interviews... blabs on about no money and market leaders blah blah blah
sylofox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I've never managed to stay awake through one yet. Who gives a fvck what you think.
BlackburnClaret Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Oh well, we won't tell you what he said about your club a while back then I think that day was about as interesting as he's ever been.
Webbo Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Full interview for those interested. Extra three minutes. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313579 Very fair comments from Rodgers there.
iancognito Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I've never managed to stay awake through one yet. Haha, with all those lively interviews we get from your mate Gravel Throat and his fishing for compliments.
