Sunbury Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 This was a game we were always likely to lose but still think it was utterly naïve of Pearson to go to United and play 424 with 2 central midfielders who were outplayed by Stoke. Very disappointing. Just hope we don't get a real hiding now.

Our tactics today, is to sit back and hoof on the counter, trying to utilise pace of vardy and kram, it's not adventurous at all We are having to hoof it because we can't control the bloody ball. Do you really think the tactics were "get the ball and punt it 60 yards to a United player"?

Cam forgive the difference in class but it's such a half arsed performance from us it's almost unbelievable. Might has well have stuck the youth team on, at least they would have given it a go. Could easily be 8 or 9 if utd decide to turn it on in the 2nd half. This is just it. It's not that we're being beaten by an expensively assembled side. We've shown that at our best we can compete. But we're miles and miles and miles below our best. Have we string together 3 passes all game?

King - useless Drinkwater - offering nothing Vardy - shouldn't be even on the pitch 3 better players on the bench sort it out. But this same argument can pretty much be aimed at Pearson in every game, even the few we have won. Let's be totally honest he has made a complete cock up of our first season back and to be honest, not done himself or his reputation many favors.
