Unabomber Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 He had one to his feet... and he left it when United scored. To write him off is moronic though. Well yeah of course.
the-blue-wildabeast Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 And to think, we've created a plethora of chances for him. This is the problem he will have, we are so, so poor in midfield as mahrez is the only genuine quality creative we have, that I really do fear none of our strikers will get more than 3/4 goals unless we sign some quality in the midfield, a mobile box to box type player rather than the very average happy to plod around passing sideways and backwards lightweights we have now.
JimmyB Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I'll take a good stream from whoever has one please. There's goals left in this game!
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Let's get real we need 6 more quality players in by Monday to stay in this league
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The sad reality is, a lot of people actually think we should be doing it every week. Tactics wise I'll stick to what I said at the start of the season, 5 in midfield for games against the top clubs and 4 in the middle the rest to play your own game. This I agree with but I don't think that's what Pearson's thinking. He'd have to leave out Kramaric or Ulloa to make that happen. And I'm not sure I've seen us play 4-5-1 well under Nige.
Babylon Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Pearson said we would be ok, so he must of lied? Yep.. he should have said "we're shit, we're going down" before we kicked a ball.
ARTY_FOX Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 It's unfair to criticise the guy, he needs service without he is just a passenger Well put. Atleast somebody understands football....
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Let's get real we need 16 more quality players in by Monday to stay in this league sorted
Nod.E Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Replace Morgan, purchase a genuine left back who isn't prone to errors, get Cambiasso and Mahrez in there, and we have a decent side. De Laet at left back and Vardy on the wing does not work. King and Drinkwater is not a premier league partnership. No time for Morgan now. I don't care if he's captain, he is consistently the source of opposition goals. I don't think he understands the notion of a defensive line. Much more comfortable with something like: Ulloa/Nugent---KramaricSchlupp---James---Cambiasso---Mahrez Solid LB---Huth---Wasyl---Simpson
hejammy Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Lets face it united were always gonna be up for this one, i dont mind as much when we lose to a better team. What really annoys me though is Pearson not allowing us to have a real go. King and drinkwater cannot play in the same team. Drinkwater has just not been the same since he came back. We needed someone who could control the midlfield , cambiasso should have started. I know he wouldnt have lasted 90 mins however the longer we held it at 0-0 the more fraustrated they would have become. hamer not starting is just crazy. Vardy when we have a man with premiership experience who plays in that position is just stupid. Im sorry Nige but today i think you got this wrong
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 In pub in Houston at 8:30am and buzzing. Full of Man U fans. First goal offside, get deflated but hopeful. After that we haven't been there. After every goal Man U fan has been asking me:,"was that offside?" Which is why nobody likes Manchester United supporters.

Kitchandro Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 We're a newly promoted side, assembled at a fraction of the cost of most sides in this division, missing some of our most important players due to injury, suspension and AFCON, playing one of the most expensive sides in the world, away from home, for the first time since we caused a massive upset against, and completely embarrassed, them. Did anyone expect much more than this? Yes. Yes I did. I've seen how we can play - against better teams even. And this is not it. Today has been an embarrassment, we'd have lost to every side in the league playing this way. Just cos it's Man U it's not excuse to be out battled and defend so disgracefully.
Corky Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 We sounded like we normally are on the radio, giving the ball away easily and not imposing ourselves. Just that we've conceded more goals.
weller54 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 3-0 would be a great result right now.. Just as long as all the other results stay the same.. No qpr equaliser please!!!!
TOMBlcfc Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Thank **** Cambiasso is on. Him and Hammond were nailed on starters for this game for me! [emoji35]
Mark_w Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 To everyone saying that this game is a bonus: We've failed to beat the teams around us so these games are now most definitely NOT bonus games We need 6 or 7 more wins to stay up, we've got 16 games left including today, only two of those games are tougher than United away. Manchester United at Old Trafford, at this stage of the season, is not must win. It's just not.
davelcfc100 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 just tried to put 5-3 on but it wouldnt let me, had to settle for a leicester win at 150/1

Did anyone expect much more than this? I didn't - but I did expect the management team to have a plan. Yes the first was off but we hadn't had two passes up till that point. Same as last week really. Assumed camb and Hammond would be for enough to play a half each? No control of the space means no one has a pass when we break down their possession. Left to just hoof it long. Can't really understand why out managemwnt can't? Against Stoke we had excuses as only two fit midfielders . Today seemed a very odd team selection. And utd are no great shakes
Guest Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 First goal was offside - it shouldn't have been allowed but obviously it was going to be against Manure. Second - deplorable positioning by Simpson as is too often the case. Third - if only Wes could head like that at the other end - he could be our top scorer this season.
JadeFalcon Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 WHAT IN THE **** KIND OF CLEARANCE IS THAT ****ING SHIT!! !:?!?!?!?!
