Fox92 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 he ain't gonna be premier league match fit though is he??? Why are people all bumming over Upson anyway?? Not you in particular foxy. It's ok... I just think he'll bring that bit of experience. He looked pretty lean and fit when he took part pre-match yesterday. And he's left sided too.
Raj Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 It's ok... I just think he'll bring that bit of experience. He looked pretty lean and fit when he took part pre-match yesterday. And he's left sided too.Id love him to be able to slot straight in.and be the Upon of old....we all know though it ain't gonna be!!!!
Leicesterpool Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 3-5-2 Hamer Was Morgan Upson (if fit) Hammond Cambiasso James Schlupp Albrighton Nugent Ulloa
Buzzell Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Don't care Simpson----Was----Wes----De Laet Hammond ----- James Albrighton-------Nuge----------Jeff Kramaric This for me.
eye666 Posted 1 February 2015 Author Posted 1 February 2015 Looking forward to another rousing chant of "she's got chlamydia".
KFS Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Looking forward to another rousing chant of "she's got chlamydia". Yeah, I wonder what modern Socrates came up with that one....
theessexfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 I'm pretty confused every time I see someone suggest 3 at the back.
Silverdaz Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Schwarzer Simpson - Wasilewski - Morgan - De Laet Albrighton - James - Cambiasso - Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa I haven't checked the thread yet but anyone who has put King/Drinkwater as their midfield two or anyone who has put Vardy on the wing is a clown, and anyone who has done both should be given an automatic ban until they've proven they can count to ten. Ideally a left back comes in. Not convinced by De Laet, though I think he's a slightly better option than Konchesky. We will need pace in this game. These are pure pace and power. They're even worse ball retainers than we are and that's saying something. You have just contradicted yourself here, you say we need pace and then say no to Vardy
theessexfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 You have just contradicted yourself here, you say we need pace and then say no to Vardy We also need players who look like they can cut it in the PL at the moment.
Silverdaz Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 and I'm pretty confused every time I see someone suggest 3 at the back. This one we get Upson and Huth we could play three at the back with Schlupp and Simpson/De Laet as wing backs therefore we can get an extra body in midfield
theessexfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 This one we get Upson and Huth we could play three at the back with Schlupp and Simpson/De Laet as wing backs therefore we can get an extra body in midfield But changing to an entirely new formation mid-season is suicidal, and something Pearson along with the majority of top-flight managers wouldn't revert to.
steveherbe Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Yeah, I wonder what modern Socrates came up with that one.... Oh yeah, I remember that one Steve. You attending this one?
Finn Claw II Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Albrighton should start, along with James and Cambiasso if fit. De-laet offered no attacking threat on the left, he kept cutting inside so maybe konchesky. Named back in between the sticks Hamer even
RowlattsFox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Assuming Mahrez isn't back. Hamer (although schwarzer will play I'm sure) De laet Morgan Wasyl Schlupp Hammond Cambiasso James Nugent Kramaric Ulloa Slightly narrow and a return to the diamond but attack minded full backs to provide the width. Hammond to protect centre backs, Cambiasso and James to try and get on the ball, nugent allowed to roam and hopefully feed the front two.
Narborough_fox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Schwarzer Simpson - Wasyl - Wes - De Laet James - Hammond Albrighton - Nugent - Schlupp Kramric For me, Hammond simply has to start. Statistically we're so much better with him in our team, our win percentage with him is 33% whereas without him it is 7%.
Foxes1 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Providing no more players come in during the transfer window which is unlikely I would like to see the followingHamerSimpsonMorganWasylDe LaetHammondCambiassoAlbrightonKamaricNugentSchlupp. With Vardy and or Ulloa coming on as impact players. Albrighton and Schlupp playing the full game. Also does anyone think that Cambiasso thinks to far ahead and none of the other players can read the game like he does and cannot anticipate what he is going to do.
Number 6 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Schwazer Simpson Was Wes De Laet Hammond Albrighton Cambiasso Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa
RedSoxUK Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Hamer Simpson Huth Wasilewski DeLaet Albrighton James Cambiasso Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa If Huth is fit enough, and if Mahrez/No signings come in, i'd like it to seee this - James is back after missing his 3 games thanks to the cup. Due to his recent inconsistency, poor performances in comparison to Wasyl, and to show the squad that no matter who you are, you can be dropped - i'd go with Huth over Morgan and give the armband to Cambiasso or Wasyl for the game. It won't happen... But i'd like to think Pearson has the balls to tell Morgan he's not been good enough and deserves a place alongside Liam Moore for inconsistency and poor performances.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Happy Bolasie isnt playing really struggled vs him at their place
harpendenfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Palace are no mugs, and they will take strength from their first season in the Premiership last season. Thus they deserve our respect, but if just one result had gone differently this season, ie we'd beaten them at their place, we'd be above them, which shows they have struggled pretty much as we have. So whilst throwing caution to the wind would be madness, we must go into the game positively, and believing we can beat them. If we select the right team (and whilst I don't claim to know what that is, I'm pretty sure it shouldn't include Vardy on the wing or up front), and play at our best, then we most certainly can win. I think I go Hammond and James as the midfield two, with Albrighton and Schlupp as the outlets, and Kramaric and Ulloa up front. We have to see how those two perform with a bit of service before we change it again. Just hope Hammond and James can create enough of a foothold in the middle to liberate the attacking four.
weller54 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 mahrez will play if algeria lose today Pray they do!!
NewquayFox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Huth can't play as he is suspended..... Hamer Simpson Was Upson Schlupp Albrighton James Cambiasso Knockeart Ulloa Kramaric Subs Schwarzer Wes De Laet Hammond Drinky Nugent Lawrence
