Guest seanfox778 Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Hamer Wasly - Huth - Upson De Laet ---------------------------- Schlupp James - Cambiasso Mahrez Ulloa - Kramaric I like that, Huth is obviously suspended but I dobut NP will ever try that.
kyleolly Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Hamer Simpson Was Upson De laet Albrighton Cambiasso Mahrez Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa
SecretPro Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 I would love Albrighton, Schlupp and Mahrez all on the pitch at the same time BUT IT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
funkyrobot Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Hamer or Schwarzer De laet (RB) Wes Was Schlupp (LB) Albrighton (rw) James Cambiasso Mahrez (lw) though I'd want him to swap frequently with albrighton Ulloa Kramaric
Dickov22 Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Thank god Mahrez and James are back. If both don't go straight into the team I'd be amazed. 3 centre mids is imperative against these. I'd go: Schwarzer De Laet Morgan Wasilewski Schlupp (we need a left footer there) Cambiasso (too classy to leave out) Drinkwater (not as bad as some suggested on Sat) James Mahrez (to give us some width) Kramaric Ulloa

kingcarr21 Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Its hard to pick a team when Schluup, Albrighton, Mahrez and Knockaert deserve a starting place. People forget how good Knockaert was when he came in. My team would be Schwarzer/Hamer Simpson Was Wes Schluup Cambiasso Albrighton James Knockaert Ulloa Kram Knockaert looked lively when he came into the team. Id like to see him get another start. Not been impressed with Drinky this season so would like to see James come back in. He hasnt scored yet but he gets himself into good attacking positions. I wouldnt mind seeing Mahrez on the bench with Albrighton starting the game. Albrighton has impressed me when hes come on and i think its harsh that he hasnt started more games when Mahrez went to AFCON. Not really fussed on goalkeeper. Both have looked capable. So wouldnt really mind either of them in goal.
Aus Fox Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Big Ben Simpson Wes Was De Laet Schluup Cambiasso James Mahrez (anyone know when he gets back? Is he bck already? If it's after Wednesday I would play albrighton.) Kramaric Ulloa The big Aussie, Upson, Konchesky, Deano, Mahrez/albrighton, Drinkwater, Nugent.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Schwarzer Simmo. Was. Upson. RDL Cambiasso. James Albrighton. Schluppenator Kramaric Ulloa
narboroughblue Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Personally I'm really looking forward to the Palace game. The window has closed and we've got what we've got so no more speculation. The last couple of games haven't been great but with suspensions, injuries and the AFCON now pretty much out the way it's time to give it our best. I don't think many would claim it's been a great season up to now but as fans all we can do is give the players the best opportunity to get more points than three others which I believe they can. Looking at lineups it appears most are converging towards similar outcomes with one or two amendments for personal favourites. Personally I'd go with: Schwarzer De Leat Morgan Was Schlupp Albrighton Cambiasso James Mahrez Kramaric Ulloa Attacking down the sides with both wingers and fullbacks able to get at the Palace fullbacks and tell the boys it's time to go back to last seasons starts where we hit the opposition fast from the start and scored lots of early goals. Don't know why I'm so cheery on a Tuesday morning but roll on Saturday and 3 points (please!!).
Merging Cultures Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 My team: Hamer Simpson Was Upson RDL Albrighton (Mahrez if around) James Hammond Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa Subs: Schwarzer, Was, Mahrez, Cambiasso, Konch, Knocky, Nugent Nigel's probable team: Schwarzer Simpson Was Wes RDL Vardy Drinkwater King Schlupp Nugent Ulloa

RokoNZ Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Kramaric needs to get back to the bench, he's just not ready to play from the start at such a crucial time. He's better off getting 30 minutes every week until he's up to the pace of things. The pressure is getting to him, he's gone about 10 matches now without scoring from open play, so he needs to come on when things are bit more open and defences are tiring a bit. I'm not a Nugent fan but his energy is needed to wear them down and make life a bit easier for Kramaric later on Albrighton deserves a start, Mahrez will probably be jaded anyway. Palace have done some good business in this window and will be coming here probably expecting a win. Might take 3 goals to win this game
cc_star Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Looking at our play since we ended that run, I think it's obvious we need Nugent involved. There's something about him that adds a bit of zip to the side and increases the tempo of the other players. Without him, we've been nothing better than absolutely dreadful. Hammond too, a midfielder tasked with covering the defence is one of the key positions in Premier League Hamer RDL Wasilewski Morgan Schlupp Albrighton Hammond King Lawrence Nugent Ulloa Subs: Schwartzer, Krameric, Mahrez, Huth, Panayiotou, James, Konchesky

If we're not waltzing through every game, no matter how world class the opposition the discontent is overwhelming
Silverdaz Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 I cant beleive some people are advocating playing Schlupp at left back after the perfrmances he has put in on the left wing, peronally think he is first name on team sheet at mo at left wing
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Hamer Simpson Was Upson RDL Hammond James Mahrez Kramaric Schlupp Ulloa Subs: Schwarzer, Morgan, Konchesky, Drinkwater, King, Albrighton, Nugent
4ever and ever Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 I cant beleive some people are advocating playing Schlupp at left back after the perfrmances he has put in on the left wing, peronally think he is first name on team sheet at mo at left wing Its only because I feel he is our best option at left back out of him, RDL and Konch and can still give the overlapping threat. I was desperate for us to sign a left back yesterday but we dint even seem interested in any. I agree he has been getting better and better at left wing but I feel Albrighton and Mahrez as wingers will be fine
Xen Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Schwarzer Simpson - Wasyl - Wes - De Laet James - Hammond Albrighton - Nugent - Schlupp Kramric For me, Hammond simply has to start. Statistically we're so much better with him in our team, our win percentage with him is 33% whereas without him it is 7%. This. If he's fit, I *might* start mahrez instead of schlupp or Albrighton, but as long as vardy isn't on the wing we might be alright. Tempted to put Upson on for Wes, but can't see pearson dropping his captain.
Lasty Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 I'd keep it tight and try to nick a 1-0. I know it's at home but you know Palace will expect us to have a go at them, then just pick us off when we make one of our customary mistakes. It's not a must win but I would consider it a must not lose. Even if it's a point, it's important we take something. Flood the midfield as we've been outnumbered there recently and been crap also. Just because we're at home doesn't mean it will be easy. It'll be a tough game against a side who are improving in general and will survive comfortably.

I'd play him for Villa Fa cup

We tried that against Stoke and look how that turned out, we cannot afford to have that attitude. I'm not saying we should go all gung ho but we cannot set up and have a 'must not lose' attitude, that's destined to fail from the start. If we do go with that set up and mentality I will ****ing flip, I'm still spewing and angry about how we handled that Stoke game even now.
palace123 Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Palace dont sit back anymore under Pardew We scored 3 goals against Burnley, and 3 goals against Southampton in our last 2 matches. Could be another thriller.
