What are you're favourite memories since being a City fan? This could be for example a particular goal celebration, a game, atmosphere or anything you can think of which brings you happy memories since supporting our club.

Grimsby Town away in 2002. Right behind the goal when Izzet scored his overhead kick. Always have memories of the entire day not just the game.

Other than the obvious great wins and Wembley trips etc-

After only going in the Supporters Club corner since going to watch Leicester with my dad, he decided to take me in the Kop before it was going to become seated the following season

We played Derby and a certain Welshman scored all ****ing night.

Any game where we have beaten the red scum

Tony James winner v Oxford to keep us up 1991

Wembley 1994 - the Walsh winner takes some beating

Hillsborough 1997 replay. Claridge winner and the first time I saw Leicester win the Leauge Cup

Wembley 2000. - Matt Elliott scoring the winner v Tranmere to win the League Cup again

Leicester v Charlton last season 3-0 win on way to smashing the league (great team performance)

Leicester v Doncaster where we got presented with the championship trophy etc last season. Magical atmosphere

Special mentions also to the atmosphere v Cambridge in the play off semi final that we won 5-0?

Also the European adventures, atmosphere v Atletico Madrid was in my opinion simply stunning even though we lost

Many many more

I was mascot at Ipswich away on Boxing Day 2001. Was 8 years old and fucking freezing but had a great day despite losing 2-0. Tim Flowers gave me his gloves and I got to warm up with Muzzy Izzet.

I was asked to choose my favourite player and you'd have a meet & greet with them before the game and they'd introduce you to the squad. Back then I chose Dennis Wise lol

the pre-match music from filbo still gives me goosebumps.

away end at villa when we beat them 1-0 in 2007 was pretty chaotic as well. in fact all the away ends in that cup run were mental.

1962/63 season, under Matt Gillies. We were in a position to do the double. FA Cup Final and TOP of the league, with four games to go. but sadly we missed out on both. I was very proud to be a City fan in those days, and that was the best season.

Are you optimistic about anything? Leave the "we are already relegated" comments in another thread (you probably have though). This is supposed to be a nice little thread to reflect... We're bottom of the league, I get it, but wow talk about repetition.

The ones in chronological order that really stand out are,

Leicester 4-1 Millwall (2002) - Coming out of Administration, and 'Dennis what's the score?' etc. Definitley my favourite day as a young kid watching Leicester and probably the only one I can really remember very well from that season.

Leicester 4-0 Leeds (2003) - Mainly for the Fan Cam to be honest, genius.

MK Dons 2-2 Leicester City (2009) - Was only listening to it on the radio, but the wait between the free-kick and scoring it is genuinely the most nervous I've ever been during a football match. Felt physically ill prior to it being taken and went absolutely mental when it went in.

Leicester 1-0 Leeds (2009) - For obvious reasons.

Leicester 2-2 Scunthorpe (2009) - Lifting of the trophy.

Cardiff 2-3 Leicester (Cardiff win on Penalties 2010) - Bit of a strange choice perhaps, and the ending was shit, I cried. But never been prouder of a Leicester City side in an individual game, thinking it would be Nigel's last game with us for a couple of years and Waggy's for a few months certainly helped raise the importance of it in my memory as well.

Leeds 1-0 Leicester (2011) - Probably an even stranger choice, included because one of my favourite moments was watching the highlights of the aforementioned 1-0 win against Leeds, with the heavy emphasis on Nigel Pearson confirming for me that he was coming back, loved it. If it was the game where the lights went out in the away end in stoppage time and the Leeds fans responded with their glow in the dark chant then it gets bonus points.

Leicester 3-0 Crystal Palace (2011) - Nice way to welcome him back.

Forest 2-3 Leicester (2013) - Needs no explanation.

Literally all of 2013/14 (edit: apart from Forest, the other defeats I could cope with and the last ten minutes of Brighton was superb).

Leicester 5-3 United (2014) - Best game ever.

Probably missed some, but that about covers it.

Edit: 5-1 Scunthorpe, 3-1 Scunthorpe (Powell/Stowell day), 3-0 Forest and 2-0 Southend all pretty good as well.

Forest away in the League Cup, 2007, was brilliant too. Literally 2-1 down in something like the 88th minute then Clemence scores from about 20 yards before Stearman somehow managed to bundle the ball in. Chants that day still make me laugh now!

Other than the obvious promotions cup wins and Man U this season.

Weller's goal in his tights.

The Oxford game survival.

Lineker knocking me out with a pre game warm up shot.

Shrewsbury in the cup.

Oh and the copper away at orient "you wont get through that fence" lol we folded back 15ft for us all to spill on the pitch as cardiff beat sunderland and we won Div 2.

And we had part of the goal post on our coach home.

Happy days

Ipswich away last season awake all night as waiting for my first grandchild.

5am the boy was born no sleep and to the game.

Thanks to the guys in the pub after for the vodka jelly shot celebration. (Happiest day of my life thank you ben n sophie oh and nuge for the double)

Amazingly not the play off wins but the noise when the 3rd goal went in against Swindon. I can not explain it. Only people who were there will really understand it. It was not just the loudness but the sound was just different.

'What's wrong with you Leeds!?'

Brilliant lol

My own top 5 memories of occasions where I was present:

1 - Beating Derby at Wembley in the 1994 play-off final.

2 - the Great Escape game against Oxford in 1991

3 - Seeing City end Liverpool's 3-year unbeaten run at Anfield in 1981

4 - FA Cup Quarter final 5-2 against Shrewsbury

5- ZDS Systems match away at Notts County in 1992 which we won 2-1

Seems like one of those who wants to take every opportunity he can to inject some negativity. Doesn't matter how positive the conversation is, it'll be more fun for him if he can get us to reflect on the less enjoyable times.
