Not great to be affiliated with them; although we have bigger things to worry about.

Anyone want a wager that we haven't been paid for the agreement yet? If so, I imagine 666 will take your money.

More evidence that we aren't seeming to very good at due diligence of those wanting to invest and partner with us ??

Hardly the clubs fault for selling advertising space to a company.  I'm sure they didn't know that the owner was conman in waiting.

You might as well say the same thing for the tv channels that sold 666 advertising time, the production company that made them to the cleaning staff of their offices.

Your point is taken - however, you can't seriously equate the responsibility that a PL club has to that of the staff cleaning the 666 offices. One would hope that we had several options of a 'betting partner'. someone didn't do their homework. That's all.

What homework are you expecting? Are they meant to look in their crystal ball and see that they are going to run a scam months later?

And how exactly are they supposed to predict or forsee that the owners would commit fraud in the future? Real life isn't like Minority Report you know.

Presumably, before the deal was signed, the owners made the fatal error of not saying "Look, you're not going to commit any crimes in the future, are you? Promise?". Unbelievably naive from them.

You have to make decisions in business all the time re new suppliers/ existing suppliers. One of the reasons new companies struggle is that people tend to stick to the eatablished names for the very reasons highlighted by this incident. If we havent been paid then then presumably the 'better' deal from the new outfit didn't turn out so great did it.

If we got paid then who cares eh!

So it's up to Leicester City to do the work of the police now?

What's it got to do with the police? My main point is we have got involved with a company as our partner that may not be able to complete its contract with us. Have we been paid anything? Will we be paid any more?

No one has foresight of everything but given the way the season has progressed, I guess a lack of foresight off the pitch has been matched on it !!

Probably just another reason for this season to be forgotten. On or off the pitch - not much seems to have gone right.

The 'homework' spoken of? what homework exactly? There is absolutely no reasonable way to think that Leicester City should of been aware of the goings on of a companies director, especially one who didn't exist at the time of the deal, real life isn't Wayne Enterprises and Leicester City aren't Batman no matter how much you wish it to be true.
